lately, i have been trying to focus on being grateful that my greatest vulnerability is also my greatest strength— loving others.
sometimes it feels exhausting and i don’t understand how people could do the things they do, but i have to remind myself that people can only give you the love they have already given to themselves and meet you where they’ve already met themselves 💗
do not allow someone else to make you feel like you are unworthy of love, whether in friendships or romantic relationships. you absolutely are. true, slow, honest, real love that is full of understanding and compassion and gentleness. there are people who will see your kindness and love and want to bring you nothing but that exact thing in return.
