Going sub-11 at Ironman Lake Placid won’t come easy. With ~7,000 feet of elevation gain on the bike, and a rolling hills marathon, it’s one of the toughest courses in the U.S. But that’s exactly why we chose it. 2:56:07 at Jersey City Marathon. There’s no better feeling than seeing the payoff from months of work come together on race day. At the start of the year I set two goals: 1. Sub-3 marathon ✅ 2. Sub-11 Ironman at Lake Placid One down. Onto the next. Proud of this PR, but already hungry to bring it down even more and chase that BQ next time. Trust the process.
