What happens when you put 60+ filmmakers in a room? 🎬👇
Back in April, we hosted our second REC event at @campfieldmcr - bringing together filmmakers, creatives, producers, videographers and video professionals from across Manchester and the wider North West ❤️
The night was all about collaboration, conversation and community.
We were lucky enough to hear incredible stories and insights from the Hallows family, with careers spanning TV drama, cinematography, production and music videos - plus an audience Q&A that honestly could’ve gone on all night. @hallows.jo@billie_hallo@vixhallows@camdoogie

And massive thanks to @alexiumz for an inspiring and honest “Show & Tell” session on his upcoming film project.
One of the best parts of the night? Seeing so many production companies and creatives in one room together. Some might technically be “competition” - but we genuinely believe peer support, collaboration and community matter far more than gatekeeping ❤️
The North West creative scene is packed with ridiculously talented people, and REC:MCR is about creating space for everyone to connect, share work, learn from each other and grow together.
And we’re only getting started…
