John and Ăine will be speaking at Design Declares Redefine 'Good' - Two Years On.
They will be sharing updates on From Plan to Do, a @creativeireland funded project that used people-centred design to help Sustainable Energy Communities move from planning to on-the-ground action. Today we are looking back on a âLive learningâ service design project we did with Cork County Council.
@corkcountycouncil  was the first local authority in Ireland to establish an internal #ServiceDesign capability in 2016. That team became known as âService RePublicâ - and in 2021 Context Studio worked alongside the them to examine the council's Corporate Services Intranet as-a-service for staff. Using our #LiveLearning approach, the project helped refresh and strengthen the team's Service Design skills.

Today we are looking back on some service design mentorship we did with The Department of Justice.
The Department of Justice was the first government department in Ireland to establish a dedicated Service Design & Customer Insights (SDCI) team.
Context Studio joined the team to mentor and coach for a period of over seven months, building upon the excellent training the team had already received, to assist on live projects, and to facilitate the development of a service design methodology for the Department of Justice.
