Milling 100+ year old golden Cypress. They were sadly knocked down due to development and when we were contacted about them, it was either mill them now or they’ll go to firewood. Always a stretch and a logistical headache to get such big trees milled and moved but worth every bit of it.
Re-purposing roof battens ~ Typically these hardwood roof battens go straight to landfill when a house is being demolished. Salvaged, restored, oiled and re-purposed. #rethinkwaste

A custom design detail recently completed in Healesville. Working from Whacc Architecture’s plans, we drafted up this 12 steel beam structure, each beam having different lengths and angles. Hot dipped gal from @melsteel_ , with help from @bluedogcranes . Each beam was lifted from the road, over the house, down to sit above the pool and welded in place ~~ We love being able to not only build but design / draft for our clients, working closely as a team to bring custom details to life. 📷 @jordysmithyy .
