Final images of the new South Norwalk Elementary School project, captured by Red Skies Photography, offer a look at a thoughtfully designed new elementary school created to serve the South Norwalk community, with modern classrooms, flexible learning environments, and welcoming outdoor spaces that support students and families. Designed by Tecton Architects and built by Newfield Construction, the new school also helps relieve overcrowding in other district schools.   More than a new building, this project represents a meaningful investment in the neighborhood and in the student experience. It is a strong example of how thoughtful planning and community-centered design can come together to create a modern neighborhood school — the first new neighborhood school built in South Norwalk in more than 40 years.

Renovations are underway at Fire Stations 2, 4, and 5 in the Town of West Hartford, with improvements to dayrooms, bunkrooms, bathroom and laundry facilities, kitchens, and portions of the building envelope. Delivering these upgrades in fully occupied first-responder facilities requires careful coordination and flexibility, especially with emergency operations continuing 24/7. Our team is sequencing work to maintain safety, access, and uninterrupted service while collaborating closely with fire department personnel and our partners at the Town of West Hartford, architect Silver Petrucelli and general contractor Retriever Group LLC. With Henry Boers serving as CSG’s on-site Project Manager during construction, the work is being closely managed to keep progress aligned with operational needs. Projects like these show that even smaller-scale municipal improvements require strong communication, trust, and a consistent on-site presence. We’re proud of the steady momentum on site and look forward to sharing more progress soon.

We’re excited to announce that CSG was part of the project team recognized by the Connecticut Building Congress (CBC) with a 2026 Merit Award! The North Branford High School project, entered in the Pre-K–12 Schools (Large) category, was honored for the team’s ability to meet and exceed project goals. We’d like to acknowledge our project partners, including QA+M Architecture and Gilbane Building Company, as well as the full team of owners, designers, consultants, contractors, and trades whose collaboration made this achievement possible. The new North Branford High School represented a $66 million investment in the community’s future. CSG served as Clerk of the Works, providing construction administration services throughout the multi-phase, 30-month build. The phased approach allowed the existing school to remain operational during construction. This recognition marks CSG’s fourth CBC Project Team Award, following honors in recent years for the Cranbury Elementary School in Norwalk, JFK Middle School in Enfield, and the Innis Arden Golf Club in Greenwich. We are proud to work on such meaningful projects across Connecticut, enhancing educational facilities and contributing to the state’s growth and development. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winning teams, and to our partners for their continued trust. We look forward to continuing to support Connecticut in the years ahead.

CSG is proud to announce our selection to support the Town of Wethersfield as the first three schools move forward as part of its capital program: the new Highcrest Elementary School and renovate-as-new projects at Webb and Charles Wright Elementary Schools. Working alongside TSKP Studio, we’re excited to help guide another multi-school municipal program in Connecticut. The program begins with the construction of a new Pre-K-4 Highcrest Elementary School, followed by the use of the existing Highcrest facility as swing space for the subsequent renovation projects, creating a more efficient path forward for the Town’s school improvements. The accompanying photos show the existing schools being undertaken as part of this important initiative, as well as the Kycia Farm property where the new Highcrest school will be built. We look forward to sharing more as the program moves ahead. Read more at the link in our bio.

We’re excited to share final images of the Anna Reynolds renovate-as-new project. Captured by Red Skies Photography, these photos highlight the results of this occupied, five-phase renovation, designed by KBA Architecture, built by Newfield Construction, and carefully managed by Eileen Eagle, all while keeping the facility fully operational. Projects like this require close coordination, clear communication, and thoughtful move management planning at every phase. This project is a strong example of how those elements come together to support successful delivery in an occupied environment.

Construction at Batterson Park is substantially complete, marking a major milestone for this regional destination serving Hartford, New Britain, and Farmington. Major improvements now in place include a new main entrance and parking lot, event pavilion, amenities building with concessions and restrooms, maintenance facility, playground and splash pad, and new kayak launch. We’re looking forward to wrapping up final details this spring and moving toward an official opening. More to come as we complete the finishing touches and prepare to welcome the community back to these revitalized spaces. #CSG #ConstructionSolutionsGroup #BattersonPark #PublicProjects #CTParks

As the Norwich school construction program continues to advance, CSG has taken office space at @foundry66 - a downtown hub for collaboration, small businesses, and entrepreneurs located in a renovated historic mill building (which happens to be the former home of the @norwichbulletin ) on Franklin Street. With John B. Stanton Elementary School and Greeneville Elementary School currently under construction — and Moriarty Elementary School and Uncas Elementary School breaking ground this spring — our presence in the Rose City is expanding. This new office space provides a professional, accessible setting for collaboration and reinforces our long-term commitment to supporting the district and the greater Norwich community. Pictured below (from left to right) is CSG’s core program management team outside of the new space: Samantha D’Agostino, Eileen Eagle, Michael Faenza and Timothy Smith. #ConstructionSolutionsGroup #OPM #OwnersRep #NorwichCT #SchoolConstruction @wearencdc
