For the @Eurovision Opening Ceremony, @Antigoni & the dancers @Anna.Xa@NinaSpirouu@NataliaMichael@SophiaPapakon walked the Turquoise Carpet as a modern Venus & Sirens in @NatarGeorgiou@Kalliope.Jewelry@TsakirisMallas
Styling: @Constantine.Stergiou
Photographer @MikaelasMila
Makeup Artist: @Roula_Dimitriadou with @Cheri_Up_Cosmetics
Creative Director: @JeanBaptisteGroup
For this look, I drew inspiration from “The Birth of Venus”by Sandro Botticelli, the iconic Renaissance masterpiece inspired by the myth of Venus emerging from the sea foam after the fall of Uranus by Cronus. The story symbolizes beauty born through transformation, chaos turning into grace and femininity as a divine force.
The connection to @Cyprus felt instinctive. In ancient mythology, Aphrodite is deeply tied to Cyprus, believed to have risen from the sea near the shores of Paphos. Bringing this inspiration to the Eurovision turquoise carpet felt like presenting a contemporary Cypriot Venus ethereal, powerful and timeless.
