E & M got married in the world’s smallest chapel in Niagara on the Lake, in an emotional ceremony lead by her dad along with their parents and 3 friends (thankfully we all fit inside the chapel lol). A week later they signed the official papers at the City Hall. All of this in less than a year after meeting each other.
They asked for privacy, reason why I can’t share most of their gallery here. They wanted their day to be just that - theirs, and I think there’s something really special about it.

I watched a movie last Friday (@middlelifefilm ) shot in Toronto.
It solidified my love for the west end.

Before @trajano_oficiall went up on stage, I wandered around the venue @teatrodarotina like I usually do, then I saw them taking pictures of each other - it was like the moment was gifted to me on a serving tray đź’›
Photographing events is like that… you observe and stay curious, soon enough something unpredictable inevitably happens and you’re just glad you’re there to capture it.
All of this to say: what are you waiting to hire me to photograph your event? đź‘˝

AWA
Sometimes the greatness of a project doesn’t hit me until a while after the images are cataloged, delivered and shared - which wasn’t the case with Patrick.
Immediately upon seeing his vases it was clear like rain water that I was in for a treat to my eyes, mind and soul.
Awa is being birthed, slow but steady, I cannot wait for all of you to see more of the delicate, diasporic and strong work Patrick makes with his hands and heart.

Some encounters cross oceans.
Jaqueline came from Canada, but carried Brazil in her gaze — and saw me with a sensitivity that moves me.
Amid the sound and lights of the show, she captured affections, silences, and moments that are now memories.
I’m grateful for this beautiful bridge between Brazil and Canada, built with care and presence.
Thank you, Jaqueline, for the delicacy and strength.
