Finally some proof for my parents friends that this is indeed not a hobby haha. Honestly when i reach milestones as an artist or a writer it’s easy to overlook them or shrug them off because so many of my friends have way bigger milestones. But right i now I wanted to appreciate the life that God has let me live so far. Hit over 1,000,000 singles sold as an artist this year, thankful for the friends who create with me. And forever grateful to @megmoroney@juligriffith for letting me be a small part of what became my first platinum record certification as a writer in the United States. “Why Johnny” is still one of my favorite songs I’ve been apart of and it would have never been written the way it was without Megan’s incredible artistry and writing. To any creatives out there, whether you’re just starting or have built a life from your work… take a beat every now and then to just be proud of how much effort it takes to even wake up and keep trying in this industry.

From studio tracking, to make shift closet vocals on retreats, we dialed all the way back in for this record and found an inspiration I haven’t felt in years. I spent the last 2.5 years building back from the ground up independent after spending the first part of my career on a major. My lord has it been tough sometimes but my oh my has it been way more rewarding. Thank you for giving me the support and confidence to go absolutely crazy next year.
