to know your heart will burn like hers
to know your eyes will shine like hers
to know your soul will dance like hers
to know your mind will dream like hers
…and to know I must be the reason this remains so.

i made a promise to my best friend a year ago that i’d commit myself forever to her unending happiness, comfort, confidence, and love…and one year later, i have never felt more of that in myself than ever before. Rumi once said that “love is a mirror. in it you see nothing but your own reflection.” If she is a testament to who i can be every day, then every day i get to wake up the richest man in the universe. to my honey, here is to the first year of infinity. thank you for showing me the proof that perfection IS possible…and it is You. Happy Ann1versary ❤️
Our Full Wedding Film // Happy Love Day 💌
I vividly remember stumbling upon @wakefield_films while searching for a videographer. I sat there, crying and smiling so big for complete strangers. Each frame was beautiful, but what truly captivated me was his ability to tell a story.
Shortly after, we hopped on a call, and that’s when I realized that people don’t choose Mason solely for his talent. I could literally feel his kindness, passion, and genuine energy through the phone. Within just a few minutes, I knew he was our guy. From that moment on, he took physical time away from his own family to get to know us (and is a natural dart player, might I add), and there truly aren’t enough ways to say thank you for what this means to us.
This video is so much more than just a social post. It’s a forever memory of who we are, what we love, and the people who make our lives meaningful every day. We hope our future kids can watch this with us—not only to see how cool Mom and Dad were (*are) lol—but, most importantly, to feel how much we love each other.
With love,
The Pellarins
Right after their ceremony, we asked Dan what he was thinking as Chelsea walked down the aisle.
He replied saying, “Forever isn’t long enough.”
What makes a wedding? Is it flowers or food or even a film? I believe not. At its core, a wedding is about celebration. The celebration of love, of commitment, of choosing someone for better or worse.
The beginning of a life long union deserves an epic celebration. And let me tell you, Chelsea and Dan did not disappoint!
It’s strange what happens as we fall in love. The simplest moments tend to outshine the most extravagant of plans. As we reflect on years spent together, the only thing that seems to matter is time. The time we spent together.
Chelsea and Dan came to me with the simplest of ideas. “Let’s just do what we always do.” And boy oh boy was it so incredibly refreshing.
I think it’s easy in the day and age of social media to get distracted by what has been done. What is “trending”, “relevant”, “pretty”.
The truth is, my experience as a filmmaker has taught me one thing. Simple moments of authenticity are all that matters. Because at the end of the day, if no one else ever saw your wedding film, would you still want it still look the same?
✨ THE NIGHT BEFORE ✨
I cannot thank @courtneyeckdahlphoto enough for capturing us the night before our wedding. This was hands down one of our favorite moments of the weekend. She calmed our nerves, made us laugh, and most importantly, let us just take in this moment fully before heading to see our friends & family. WE LOVE U!!!

‘23 And Me.
I didn’t post much this year because I wanted to see how far the moment could take me, if I could just stay in it as long as possible. If I could keep my heart and soul constantly present, maybe then time would feel more like it was being collected, than being spent. This year, I really tried the best I could to be a better me than the one I was yesterday, and the result was the greatest, most densely rewarding year of my life.
This post is a very small glimpse into what that year was. These are some songs that were cut, some friends that were made, some promises that were kept, some additions to the family, some checks off the bucket list, some miles run, some weight lost, some (all) showers cold, some fish caught, and some reminders that turned into mantras.
But this is all a thank you to the special ones that have made this year a permanent bookmark amongst the chapters of my story. You know who you are, and I love you, deeply.
On the journey of You, the pursuit of your purpose can at some times feel unforgiving and many nights you feel undeserving of any shred of hope. BUT as my buddy @imjoshphillips and I have said to each other a time or two…”if you think you deserve the struggle, you most certainly deserve the reward.”
“I’d rather be an optimist and a fool, than a pessimist and be right.” - Albert Einstein
Incredibly grateful, humbled, and excited to be joining the Warner Chappell x Matchless team, and checking one off the ol’ bucket list. It’s hard to put into words (even for me haha) just how much this moment means to me but I’ll give it a go (long one incoming).

Life has been a winding road of change, through the thick fog of uncertainty and even in the midst of chaos, music has been an unshakeable companion with every step, no matter the lack of light ahead.

At times in my life it was the only shoulder I could lean on, the only friend I had as a new kid on my first day of high school, and quite literally a pillow, an 8-track recorder on apartment floors of cold hardwood to let me rest my head at 4am (probably taking the same exact vocal take from 6 hours earlier). Music led me to music school…and led me to drop out; move to NYC, then Nashville and play rock music with my best friends. Music carried me through incredible darkness, and music brought me a love that scattered that darkness with a sea of sunlight. Music introduced me to the most profound friends, mentors, songwriters, champions, and people in my life (you know who you are, and I love you) and it has all led to this; the starting line.

All of this to say, sometimes a dream doesn’t come with a path. Sometimes the dream is the path. Just keep going, and along the way you’ll find someone younger you dreamed of becoming, and older you would be proud to have been. Time to work!
