Look after look, show after show, baby - and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m really leaning into that repetition in the fashion industry that Tom Ford is speaking of and I am grateful that fashion has really become a tool for me to help drive impact monetarily for organizations and developmentally for aspiring creatives. Every time I show - I add another layer and push myself and for this show in particular, I was FULL. I could bet the Producer, the Designers and the Glam Leaders felt the same but it’s everything we all ask for. So having a production team that thinks ahead of us, is firm but flexible, communicates well, leads with confidence and stays on their square - was a game changer and allowed me to be at my best. What I love most about where I am in my career is that it is changing and growing and I’m so grateful to be in this place. You guys usually only get to see highlights from the show where I’m on stage BUT there’s so much that goes into my tiny portion of these fashion shows. This time it looked like: Performance Coaching & Choreo for Two of the Entertainers Working with New CWC Team Members Emceeing of Course & Being a Part Time Stage Mama Big, Huge, MASSIVE love & gratitude to the Production Team - when I tell yall this was their show, I’m not dragging it. Just last weekend I dropped my mic and laced up my heels for Dancing With the Capital Region Stars and I miss it already!! 💃🏽 The incredible Freddie Ramirez — Broadway performer, Artistic Director, and creative powerhouse at Capital Rep @atproctorstheatre — choreographed a cha-cha that was pure fire 🔥. It captured both our personalities and our love for performance. I’d been pushing through an injury since January and struggled through more than a few rehearsals. But when showtime hit, adrenaline took over. I trusted Freddie completely and leaned on God, baby — and every ounce of fear turned into excitement. It felt so good. ✨ At Connect With Coco, I help other performing artists prepare for their stages by tapping into their personal power and feel their best, but I rarely get that extra push for myself. So thank you, Freddy for saying yes! Thanks for spending the time on me, to train me, to push me beyond what’s comfortable - I loved every bit of it and I am unbelievably grateful for you. There’s no one I could’ve imagined taking this journey with. The little girl in me, young Coco, needed to dance again… but the big girl in me? She needed to raise that money! 💅🏽💰 And we did both. Final numbers came in on Friday and we raised $9,220 - 84.4% over my original goal. I’m so proud of what we created — the choreography (all you), the energy, the impact. Anyone there could tell you, they could feel the heat too 🔥, babe. Dancing With the Capital Region Stars was the most phenomenal experience! We captured the crowd, finished with grace, and had an amazing amount of fun dancing the night away to @djtrumastr ! Phenomenal News: The goal was to raise $5k for IPH, we raised over $9k. That is 80% over my original goal!!! A HUGE amount of support from my incredible family, @iph_ny development team & the businesses who shared their support through auction items helped to make this possible. Thank you for so thoughtfully planning an event where collective impact is at the forefront and the cast is represented by high impact community members that truly care about other people. The entire cast worked so hard for the charities we represented and through this beautiful event we raised over $180,000.
