Had such a great time working with @pdutoit7 and @sequoyah.images after so many years!
I’ve been going through a lot lately and it makes it so difficult to make the time to create. I just exited one of the worst work environments I’ve ever bore witness to after two years, and I felt liberated to say the least. Sometimes we force ourselves to keep giving in to abuse and mistreatment because we think that we have to go through some sort of rite of passage…but life is way too short for us to invest parts of ourselves and our time into the wrong things.
Can’t wait to share more as the year goes on!

“Untitled Film Still #5 & #6”
While studying for my undergrad I became deeply fascinated with the work and process of photographers @crewdsonstudio and @cindysherman
Both take a cinematic approach to their projects, and create a strong sense of environment. I really appreciated the life they seemed to breathe into their work. Viewing it gave me the feeling that I was experiencing the moment simultaneously with the subject and I loved the effect it had.

“Untitled Film Still #1 & 2”
This winter I began working on one of the most enjoyable projects I’ve done thus far. This work in progress is entitled Simulation 505. I don’t normally share work before it’s complete, but COVID-19 has changed my thoughts on how I should approach my work. This project has been on the back burner for months since I’ve been unable to expand on the content, but hopefully I’ll be able to work on it some more this fall.
