AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT Confluence Ballet Company are currently looking for dancers who have strong classical ballet, pointe, and contemporary technique for our 2026/27 season, as well as freelance artists of different styles of dance and art forms to join and collaborate with our company. We are looking for dancers of all backgrounds, ages, and genders. We are accepting applicants on a rolling basis. We have performances throughout the year, ranging from main stage productions to outreach events. Category is: “Fashion is Art” 🌟🎨🩰 In honor of this year’s Met Gala new exhibit, we wanted to show our take on the theme! Our most recent performance, IMAGES, each composer selected a work of visual art from history and used it as a point of departure—bringing the image to life through original composition and movement. Read below to see what piece of art each dance was inspired by. Last night we had our opening night of IMAGES, and it was a success! 🩰🌟🎶 We want to thank everyone for helping make this performance happen: our dancers, choreographers, composers, musicians, board members, support from @radworkshere and @pghartscouncil , the staff at @rodef.shalom , and most importantly, our audience members and patrons! IMAGES opens TOMORROW NIGHT for an exciting and inspiring one-night-only multidisciplinary performance! Structured in two parts, Images opens with Joshua Malavé’s piano concerto performed by Amaury Morales, grounding the evening in virtuosic musical performance. The second half expands into a multidisciplinary exploration, as visual art inspires new compositions that are realized through movement onstage.
