If that’s you, I’m in the thick of creating an all new course, just for you.
It’s called Size-Inclusive Pattern Grading and it goes live at the end of May/early June.
You can join the new grading-only course now during presale, which comes with some incredible bonuses, or you can —

Joining CPMG gives you immediate access to my existing pattern grading curriculum and 4 months of personalized support.
The current grading curriculum is nothing to shake a stick at! It’s what’s helped hundreds of students to successfully grade patterns of every style for bodies of all sizes.
But the new grading course I’m creating will be the distillation of all of the grading experience I’ve had since the CPMG curriculum was first created in 2022.
3 years and literally hundreds of patterns later, I have a lot more to say about grading and I am so excited to share it through this new course
Size-Inclusive Pattern Grading is the perfect choice for anyone with lots of pattern drafting experience who wants to learn to grade patterns size-inclusively, once and for all.

Patternmaking and grading are not known for being fast processes...
I teach drafting & grading in Adobe Illustrator, and its become a bit like an old reliable truck you can always count on to get the job done.
But CLO3D software? It's like the self-driving high-tech and FAST Tesla Cyber Truck version of your old workflow 🤣
If that repulses you, stay with me 🤣:
CLO3D is a powerful digital patternmaking software that will allow you to see your 2D patterns on a 3D digital mannequin's body.
Every pattern adjustment you make will update on the 3D model in real time.
Skip sewing endless samples. Digital mockups in CLO are the future.
My friend Ruby is offering her 12-Week Custom Fit in CLO3D course again starting this June, but early bird DISCOUNTED pricing is available for those who join now!
I've taken it, and I kid you not, she had me using CLO3D comfortably within the first 60 MINUTES! Contrast that to the weeks I spent trying to learn on YouTube, spinning my wheels and getting nowhere...
Let's make your pattern development process get-up-and-go with CLO!! 🏎️💨
Comment "YES PLEASE!" below and I'll send you the link to check out the course!

Bad news: making the digital pattern is not the part that makes you money.
Good news: you only have to make it once.
Then you get to sell that baby over and over and over again ♻️
You've gotta stop putting all the pressure on launch day and start thinking like a business owner.
Want to hear everything we got into on this nearly 2 hour long business mentorship call inside the Confident Patternmaking & Grading course?

Learning pattern making is something I’m really passionate about, but it’s also a challenge… and learning it digitally feels like an adventure that’s both exciting and a little scary at the same time hahaha. I have no idea how long it’ll take me to reach a point where I feel more or less confident, but one thing I do know is that to get good at anything, you have to make a lot of mistakes first. And if I’m going to mess up, I might as well enjoy the process 😊😊😊
Today I feel proud of myself because I’ve finally created my basic dress and sleeve patterns in Illustrator. I’m really grateful that I took the step to learn something I care so much about and had the courage to train myself to get better at it 🩷🧘🏼♀️
Of course, everything takes time… but time will pass anyway, whether you go for it or not. You get to decide if you take the leap or keep waiting “for the perfect moment.” I don’t think the perfect moment exists, and there’s no better time than now ✨ The past is gone and tomorrow is unknown, so I choose to be present and dedicate my time to something that makes me feel alive.
Even if I cry sometimes and don’t feel capable, I know I’m doing the right thing. I hope you feel that too and dare to go after that thing that scares you so much ❤️ you’ve got this! 🫂💌
Thanks @confidentpatternmaking for guiding me in this new adventure 🚀

Nat didn’t follow a straight path into patternmaking.
She went to school for fashion design and back then she thought she knew exactly what her future would look like.
Until then she discovered it wasn’t what she actually wanted at all.
She trusted the pull she felt toward something different.
When Nat found CPMG, she took the leap and joined (even when it didn’t totally make sense on paper), and she's found a completely different path to professional patternmaking than the one that was laid out for her in fashion school.
Now she’s a pattern designer, freelancer, sewing instructor and co-teacher with us in CPMG, and someone who brings so much care and intention into the way she supports students.
Because she knows what it feels like to be figuring it all out.
Inside CPMG, you’re not just learning from people who got it “right” the first time or followed a clear and narrow path that was laid out for them,
You’re learning from people who chose to trust themselves and build something uniquely their own 👏

When you join CPMG, you’re not just learning from me.
You’re stepping into a space shaped by people who are actively building what you want to build.
Jess @jessilous_closet is one of our co-teachers and one of those people.
She’s a patternmaker, a business owner, and someone who genuinely cares about helping other designers bring their ideas to life, in a way that actually fits real bodies.
Learning patternmaking in CPMG is not only about giving you technical information,
It’s about being surrounded by people who see what’s possible for you and can guide you where you want to go.
Inside CPMG, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
Instead you’ll learn from and grow alongside the people who are out there doing the work 🫰

If the only path you’ve seen into patternmaking feels like going backwards,
It's no wonder you haven't jumped into this already.
But there's another way.
CPMG co-teacher Nat @neighborhoodpatterns wrote about her own experiences with both tradition fashion school and the Confident Patternmaking and Grading program, how they compare and how they stand apart.
Comment the word SCHOOL and we’ll DM you the link to read all about her experience 💌

Someone on TT said “this isn’t the flex that you think it is” … 🙃
Well I disagree 😅
I’m so proud of the skills that I’ve built in the past 6 years, and the fact that I’ve gotten to take you all on the journey makes it even sweeter 🫶
If designing your dream garments is a goal, I’d love to share how I learned patternmaking with you!

Today I’m sharing real invoices (client info all removed for privacy of course) from a few of my past freelance projects to show you that if you are interested in making a career as a patternmaker it is totally doable!
I learned patternmaking while I was in college, but it was @confidentpatternmaking that taught me how to transfer those skills to the digital realm. And it was the network I built through connecting with other patternmakers I met while taking the course that brought me my freelance work. I am so grateful to have a career as a patternmaker and it wouldn’t be what it is today without the help of Victoria and @confidentpatternmaking
Enrollment is now open and class begins April 6th! If are ready to dive into the world of patternmaking comment LETSGO! and I’ll send you the link to enroll*
And if you have any questions feel free to ask below or in DMs. I’m always happy to chat! *Note this is not a many link automation it is just little ol’ me so I appreciate your patience 🫶🥳⭐️
