Wrapping up a huge year. Here's some of it all at once 💥 Happy holidays!
Stay tuned cause we just bought an awesome new studio (it's a 100 year old milk bar!) and can't wait to see you there in the new year 🥛🎆
Runner Up: Brand meets build.
We designed and built these tables with our friends (and literal brother - hey Craigy 👋) over at @mood.workshop@laminexau Laminates collide to create booth tables perfect for lengthy conversations and big spills. One of them not-so-subtly directs you to our favourite seat in the house. @formicagroup

Whenever we present a new brand identity we’ve made for a client, we always include several indicative mockups of how the brand will look and function in the digital & physical world.
Depending on their industry this could include wayfinding/signage, a scarf, a bottle or something aspirational we know they’ll never rollout like their own personal permanent billboard.
It’s rare a client will then go onto make several of these aspirational items - let alone every. single. one. including the billboard.
And that’s what sets @studioy.com.au apart from the rest. We’ve had a reeeeal buzz working together and watching our work come to life — even if our studio is covered with Studio Y samples!
Brand identity for @studioy.com.au
This world-class interior design studio has designed most of the bars and restaurants in Australia.
If you’ve been out for a drink you’ve probably sat on a chair they’ve spec’d up at a table they’ve had made in a room that just feels good.
They work hard to get to the essence of each project and wanted their identity to leave space for their projects to shine.
Here we have the all-singing, all-dancing, always expanding logo that designs its own spaces. The logo becomes the system that frames their incredibly diverse and expert folio.
It’s something very special when a client becomes a dear friend. Love ya @studioy.com.au
