Impromptu photo shoot at the shop today with the talented @calvinwolf behind the lens while the one and only “Dandy Andy, Mayor of Sandy” @andybihn kept the energy alive juggling in the middle of the madness. Exactly the kind of beautiful chaos we love around here.
Nothing but good people and good vibes rolling through all day with surprise pop-ins from the legends at @kohler.collective and @tezatalks talking summer collaborations, future projects, music, art, and all the things that keep this community moving forward.
The Concuss spot was always meant to be more than just a store. It’s a place for artists, musicians, designers, weirdos, creators, and culture shifters to connect and make something real together.
We’re gearing up to launch our “Friday Night Live” series starting in June — bringing music, fashion, art, performances, pop-ups, and community energy into the shop on a regular basis.
So if you’ve got art to show, music to play, gear to drop, films to screen, or something the city needs to see… pull up.

The Concuss Creations flagship store was built to be more than just a clothing shop — it’s a community hub where music, art, fashion, and creativity all collide to bring ideas to life.
Founded back in 2003 by Castro & Co., Concuss started with a simple mission: make dope merch to sell at shows and create something real for the culture around us. Fast forward to now and we’re designing, manufacturing, and producing everything from classic one-color tees to fully custom collections built from the ground up.
The shop stays packed with fresh gear, great music, rotating visuals, and work from an incredible lineup of artists and creatives including Cecil Porter, DJ Zone, RZA, Sticks & Stones, Awol One, Ja’Den the Genius, Flash, Specs Wizard, Barfly and a whole lot more coming through this summer with new drops, pop-ups, performances, and collaborations constantly in the works.
We just dropped the all-new black-on-black hoodies & lids alongside the Pretty Deadly “After Midnight” collab tee with Ceschi that hit the store today.
Pull up to the shop at Concuss and let us know what you want to see us design, print, stock, or collaborate on next. There’s always free goodies floating around, always something loud playing, and the visuals never stop thanks to the 24/7 Radio Concuss YouTube stream running in the shop.
We seriously can’t thank all of you enough for the continued love and support over the years. From Seattle roots to the Portland streets, the West Coast connection keeps growing because of the people around us.
The new ConcussCreations.com is still getting rebuilt and fine-tuned, but you can still grab gear and tap in online while we keep leveling everything up. Stay platinum…#Concuss #Streetwear #Music #Portland #Seattle
Thanks to everyone who’s supported After Midnight during its first week. We’ve loved seeing everyone’s responses and support - thank you. We’re super proud of it.
We teamed up with @concusspdx for some exclusive After Midnight shirts. You can grab them through their site or at their storefront, and there may even be a handful available at the Pretty Deadly merch booth at live shows.

Pretty Deadly “After Midnight” Collab Tee
$24.00
The “After Midnight” split single is really personal to Pretty Deadly.
Their lead singer/guitarist wrote it years ago—right after getting sober. The song reflects the struggles of drinking, the decision to quit, and what comes after. Today marks 15 years of that journey.
So, after many tries and repeatedly coming back to it over the years, they slowed it down, tracked vocals to a click, and started building…
Concuss alumni Progeny added a distorted vocal mix that pushed it in a new direction and they layered in a hip-hop–influenced drum feel, a new bassline, and synth and guitar textures from their recording engineer Chris (Old Cross). It started turning into something totally different—something they hadn’t really imagined before.
There was only one person who could take it to the next level; Ceschi from the Codefendants. They reached out, and when he sent his verse back, Pretty Deadly knew instantly—the song was finally complete. Chills all around.
Now it’s out on all streaming platforms, and the response has been incredible.
And now, Concuss has teamed up for an exclusive T-shirt drop to go along with the release!!
This one means a lot to everyone involved… Come catch it live, grab a shirt, and let us know what you think! #Concuss #ConcussCreations #Ceschi #PrettyDeadly #AfterMidnight
It’s starting to go UP at the Concuss store.
We’re open today from 11–7PM, with Mike D holding it down in the shop—spinning brand new heat from Onry Ozzborn’s “Pocketknife” release, plus fresh fire from Sleep’s new album (all gold, no skips).
This year marks the 30th Anniversary of Ol’ Dominion—three decades deep in shaping the backbone of Northwest hip hop. We’ve got new Concuss drops, exclusive pieces, and a few surprises lined up for those who really know the history.
The sun’s out, the city’s alive, and the vibe is right.
Pull up. Tap in. Say what’s good.
Grab something new and be part of it.
Get up. Get out. Get something. ❤️

We spare no expense when it comes to marketing over at @concussgear / @concusscreations —and yeah… it shows. This “six-figure production” straight out of our visual effects department says it all.
We’re shutting the shop down an hour early tonight in honor of the new film from RZA, produced by Quentin Tarantino, screening at the Hollywood Theatre.
Pull up and show love for local legend DJ Wicked, who’s blessing the night with a special all-vinyl set, alongside the screening of One Spoon of Chocolate—a gritty, grindhouse-style, martial arts revenge thriller that’s got “cult classic” written all over it.
Portland showed up for us—now we show up for Portland.

Absolutely brilliant day yesterday for the official soft opening of our new flagship at 2642 NE Sandy Blvd.
Solid turnout—but more importantly, the incredible people in the building all day. New faces, new friends, and a whole lot of the ones who helped put @concuss@concusscreations@concussgear on the map over the last 23+ years. Real full-circle energy.
@thedjzone held it down on the decks for a proper 4/20 crowd while folks got hands-on with the new TimèZone custom watches, scooped the limited Concuss @sticksandstonespdx two-finger rings, and stayed fed with that next-level @thenoshpitpdx goodness.
The maestro himself, @robcastro , came down from Seattle fresh off rocking with @codefendants_legal_fund to oversee it all and tap in with the Portland crew.
Doors are officially open now:
Wednesday–Sunday | 11AM–7PM
* by appointment if you’re moving different.
Way too many people to thank—but you know who you are. This doesn’t happen without the love, the work, and the community behind it.

Pull up. Massive love ❤️ #Concuss #ConcussGear #Portland #Streetwear #Community
@lyricsborn with the slick flow is the perfect fit for the soft opening video I shot just a few hours ago on the way out the door tonight.
Still a lot to knock out tomorrow before we open the doors for y’all on Monday—laying down some final paint, installing custom touches and art, the ace @muralsbyflash is dripping out a new sign for out front, cleaning the shop top to bottom so it shines, steaming all the new drops, and getting everything dialed.
We’re also setting up the DJ booth for @thedjzone to knock the windows out with his cuts, picking up the new @sticksandstonespdx custom rings from the legend Ben P., rolling through early Monday to grab the best sandwiches in the city at @thenoshpitpdx , and getting all the giveaways and gifts ready for all you 4/20 celebrators. #Concuss #Portland #Streetwear #SoftOpening #Community
Getting excited about the 4/20 soft opening of the store! 11am-7pm Monday…New Concuss merchandise dropping, limited edition watches by TimèZone, custom rings by Sticks & Stones jewelry, bomb food from The Nosh Pit sandwich gods, one-of-a-kind art by Flash, lots of cool giveaways, and a performance by DJ Zone—all packed into a mellow 4/20 vibe, with Castro the founder rolling down from Seattle for the festivities.
Guaranteed good times and great people coming and going throughout the day. Who knows who might be rolling through?! You might see a celeb or two.
Huge thank you to Ben from Sticks & Stones for all the extra attention and time spent getting the custom rings made.
Massive love to DJ Zone for coming to rock the turntables and for the absolutely amazing custom Concuss timepieces.
Slobbery kisses and uncomfortable hugs to the sandwich gods, Jeff Jones & Phil Hickey, for opening up their shop, The Nosh Pit, on their day off to whip up the best sandwiches in town for our beautiful Concuss family and friends.
Big thanks to the maestro Castro for making it all happen, getting the new gear ready to drop, and for having faith in the Portland crew and community that loves Concuss & Co.
Lots of giveaways and cool vibes going down on 4/20, so if you’re in Portland this Monday, drop by 2642 NE Sandy Blvd and show some love.
