Sometimes people ask me where I live. Sometimes I forget where I live, especially when they ask me. So I open my hard drives and find the answer. Among the many folders, this one represents one of my many homes, one of my many lives, the many flights I’ve taken, the new flavors I’ve discovered, and the incredible people I’ve met. Para festejar el día nos fuimos a la playa y grabamos una sesión simple de cuatro canciones que subí a youtube. Dos son mías y las otras dos son de gente que admiro. Uno lo conozco @mannaggiamati que siempre me inspira con sus palabras y su música. Me alegra haberlo pasado con mi familia de Italia y con la gente de este lugar al cual vuelvo siempre entusiasmado. TERRA CHIAMA TERRA - @rifugio_rodadivael ‘Still alive!’ - the filming had come to an end and these were the words the boys shouted in chorus as they looked at the Sassone. Living at 2300 metres, that’s what they do, for six months all they hear is the sound of marmots, the footsteps of tourists, the bells of cows and the spaddle of spazzles. Live like them, dare, don’t be afraid to climb a mountain and try to change your life. I will forever thank them because with their simplicity they told their stories and gave life to this documentary about a special place with special people. Thanks to @roberta_silva73 , mother of all but especially of the Refuge to @nini_corraini @bagigi.studio for asking me that day to tell and project something that spoke of the mountains and of Roda. Thanks to @giorgia_md my companion who co-directed and narrated this place with her photos and words.
