Very excited to share that I will be teaching a fundraising open class at @theplaygroundlondon as part of a project with @companyjinks on 22nd May.
The class is donations based and all money goes to @care4calais - a volunteer-run charity delivering essential aid and support to refugees in the UK and Northern France.
Having dance be a way of supporting people and building community is immensely powerful. Very grateful to @companyjinks - thank you for the opportunity and space! There will be other classes and events lined up with CJ so keep an eye out!
Sign up and donation links are in my bio - DM me iff you have any questions.
Hope to see many of you there and canāt wait to dance with everyone ! š«°š«

Our second edition of āThe Sharingā has sold out before we managed to officially share it, thank you! You can message us to join the waitlist (or grab a ticket for the Queer Club - our other opportunity to watch new creative work!)
The Sharing is a choreographers showcase, celebrating in-person, live pieces of dance. This years theme is Roots. Who are we underneath the layers? This event merges creativity with humanitarianism, and this show is supporting @care4calais - a charity supporting asylum seekers and refugees. See more, and donate, at the link in our bio.
Check out the incredible choreographers showcasing on the night - and hopefully see you there!
I have been so close to forgetting that dance is resistance. Itās protest. Itās an act against a system that wants us to cower in fear and dissociation. Grab your community and remember that true love is radical in these times as it requires us to see ourselves in all people. Iām choosing to have hope. Thank you @companyjinks and @renmakesmusic

The main part of the evening is watching 8-10 queer artists perform a piece of art that they have specifically created for this event, with this years theme being Spring Energy: Transformation & Renewal. We will also have a DJ set to have a dance, as well as time to play some games and have a mingle.

Today we had our first Soul Sunday. 3 hours to move slowly with awareness and intention. A playground of connection, honesty and humanness. We flow with whatās needed, mainly through journaling and improvisation. Bringing the quest back to questions, rather than rushing for answers. Thanks to this bunch of legends for making the first one so heartwarming. The next one is Sunday Feb 22nd .. max 20 people. Open to all. Link in bio if youāre needing a space of less doing, more being. X
Term 9 š
Last week we closed up our Autumn/Winter term & 9th cycle of company training. To keep our pillars of community, love and connection alive we now only open a company ācontainerā for 2 months, twice a year. Committed to quality, this means our professional program runs twice, usually Spring & Autumn. Within this 2 month period we have our weekly company class for members as well as open events for all. Thereās some exceptions to this but for now this flow feels right.
Weāve been asking more deeply what community is and what service looks like, moving slowly and intentionally. We have been merging our work with fundraising, volunteering and humanitarian work, growing relationships with local and international charities including Ealing Food Bank, Care4Calais, Bow Foodbank, Choose Love, Spitalfields Farm & Not A Phase and want to thank them for their amazing work. Prioritising connection, weāve ran another Queer Club, Winter Session and our first choreographer showcase.
After 8 years of this program - training over 500 dancers, I am clear on what we offer and know that itās not for everybody. I trust that it calls in the right people at just the right time. Those who need it, find it. This 9th term has been a rollercoaster of experiences thatāve been anchored in love. So many tears shed - joy, pain & all the rest. A space to feel, discover, expand, be. Some people see success as a list of famous people but for me, facilitating these spaces feels like my deepest dharma and I would honestly do this if it was my last day on earth. I love these people so much itās madness.
Anyways, hereās a few random snippets (choreographers tagged). Applications will open on Feb 14th for our spring term (April-June). In 2026, weāre going to nourish our creative work as a company and deepen our service. But for now, some time off to reflect, re-align and plant the seeds of 2026. I hope you are connecting to your communities, itās been quite literally life saving for me. To allow ourselves to be mirrored. The world is wild rn, and spreading as much love as I can in my lil corner of the earth feels good enough. Beyond grateful. I love you.
TERM 9 OVER N OUT
