We’re gonna be at the Buda Public Library from 12 to 2, hoping to make this into a monthly event, see you there.
Looking for fun Saturday night plan?? Join us at our May Day Party to help support the efforts of Community Centered and Squared, and the various projects we get up to including The Hays Free Fridges and San Marcos Open Cooperative Housing. Suggested donations of $5-15 will be taken at the door. And yes, that “bring who and what you wish” bit is our neuro-spicy way of saying “byob/w/e”
We will have a slip and slide, inflatable pool, board games, and at the end we will raffle off brand new, unopened vinyl records.

Join us for our first foraging plant walk of 2026! Spring is here (albeit a hot and dry one) so let’s go learn about the plants in the area that have been useful for generations as food and medicine. We’ll meet at the park at 10:30, hike for a bit and then circle back; please bring whatever sun protection is appropriate for you as well as some water — as well as any plant knowledge or questions!

Thank you so much to the Central Texas Cherokee Township for collaborating with us in planting the first phase of a three sisters garden, the corn. They were generous to share their some of their heirloom corn with us and in a few weeks, we will plant the beans. A second thanks to Zoetic Mindfulness Retreat for allowing us to use their garden beds.
We really enjoyed hearing about the foundational stories about corn and how to tend a garden, as well as a beautiful song, dance, and learning a few words of the Cherokee language. Thanks so much.
