2025 is ending???
Highlights from photos of Vancouverās game dev scene in 2025!
Pic 2:
@coldbloodinc had a busy 2025 from revealing their game, Neverway! Getting to see how they work at their studio and even playing a bit of their game. Pedro, Isa, and Heidy are cooking up something real special. Please look forward to it!
Pic 3: If you ever had to negotiate with a Twitter character count while promoting a game, youād inevitably run into some generous and sound wisdom from
@hellovictoriatran . She is that kindness-driven tide helping to raise the community boats of every developer by being a sharing font of knowledge for community management. So, it was an absolute honour to be able to take photos for her Community Management book launch at VPL! Also, one of the funniest shoots this year because she killed it with the expressions, no surprise there tho!

@ehjaredj made some BIG moves this year, and was happy to take photos for him as he became Lyrical Gamesā Director of Community and Communications. I donāt know anyone who travels as much as Jared as I throw 5 dice across a Craps board to guess if heās in Van or flying off this month when making plans at times haha. In spite of his busy workload, he also volunteers tirelessly to build up
@busgamedevs . In addition to being Vancouverās best Nintendo Land player, heās now a certified Letterbox Lad!
Pic 5-7:
@busgamedevs had some soul-shaking talks and capped off the year with EmCom! Also, the volunteer team are kind folks who work so hard too!
Pic 8-9: I worked alongside the mega-talented
@yhanson_photography to take photos of
@vangamegarden this year and it was wonderful getting to talk with some of the devs there too. The staff and team behind it are such sweethearts! š
Aside from these snaps, seeing how well Full Indie Summit, Game Garden, and now, Vancouver Game Expo did help to fill my heart! My own year in games has been turbulent, and 2026 is ???
Either way, Iāll be taking more snaps of game dev folks in 2026! šø
