Back at the end of September we were delighted to be invited to share tea from our @cominsteawithpurpose range & stories at @harvestbristol .
Harvest ‘are an ethical food shop in Bristol. Part of the Essential Worker Co-operative and specialising in providing ethically assured, healthy and fairly-traded products that people can trust’ & @sue_whale_artist has long been a tea drinker & friend of Comins
It was beautiful to share tea with the community but also to learn that the team here will host a regular tea community gathering - the next TEA CLUB event is sold out on the Friday 21st Nov & will be focused on oolong from Taiwan. So best to book tickets early for Fri 30th Jan (- £10pp- book in store or by phone 0117 942 5997) You can also purchase tea from our @cominsteawithpurpose range & enjoy a delicious well brewed cup of tea

Dartmoor holds a magic for our family, its wild beauty & expansive views soothe the soul - it’s a place of retreat so a chance to visit our wonderful partners @fowlescombe was truly a trip to look forward to.
The team at Fowlescombe led by amazing Caitlin describe themselves as ‘a quietly luxurious and restorative rural retreat set close to wilds of Dartmoor in Devon’. From the moment you arrive you feel your shoulders drop & your breath slow. The team so kind & open - a true community. We combined team training with guest tasting in the main refectory & the stunning greenhouse. As we tasted & gave tips for preparing & serving teas we shared stories of the growers we are fortunate enough to work with. In this moment those at the first & last part of the journey from leaf to cup were united - us at Comins the carriers of stories & knowledge shared with us - but the wonderful hard working team in service holding a pivotal role in making sure the tea is well presented to the drinker
Lately we find ourselves thinking a lot about ‘what is luxury’. For us luxury is a focus on quality but it’s also community, sharing & a thoughtful informality that reminds people of the things we have in common. The approach of Caitlin and the team @fowlescombe reflects true luxury to us - it infuses through every detail - the tea in room & restaurant is beautiful & when brewed it tastes sublime. The menu is farm to table - reflecting the seasons & infused with the skill & positivity of the team. The land presents endless possibilities for outdoor tea times & our partnership is one we are grateful & proud of
We can’t wait to share pictures & stories of @cominsteawithpurpose being served in such a wonderful setting with our partners around the world. For now we will enjoy remembering such beautiful tea times & send thanks to the incredible team here

Beautiful exchange of ideas @rude_coffee_cheltenham
Really enjoying visiting some of our wonderful partners this Autumn - sharing tea & ideas. Callum @rude_coffee_cheltenham has an incredible record in creating amazing spaces to showcase carefully sourced & beautifully made coffee. We enjoyed a beautiful evening together exploring our approach to tea and comparing & contrasting this to the coffee world. In the coffee world precision is key & it was interesting to discuss how, in busy environments, we can follow a few simple guidelines for tea (time, temperature) but also encourage the ‘feel’ of the person brewing the tea in every cup.
As always conversations raise new questions & inspirations reminding us of the importance of creating time & space for discussion & exchange. Tea lovers in Cheltenham please do go & meet the team @rude_coffee_cheltenham , have a chat about tea, join their community - Callum & the team are completely committed to bringing a beautiful tea moment to your day & we are really grateful for the warm welcome & partnership.
