As the world burns we’re getting ready to saddle up the fire horses and ride! We’re very excited to announce a national tour of our new show Game of Crones this Spring. Charge your goblets and join us as we give ageing a kick right up it’s arse. Packed full of comic characters, amazing costumes, songs and film, we’re throwing everything at this mythic quest to stop time. With dramaturgy by @bryonykimmings , @jonathanoldfield_ on comedy direction, stunning costumes by @jesseatonartist and original music by BAFTA winning @tomthepenn this is gonna be ridiculously ambitious and a guaranteed hoot. But nothing is gratuitous or stupid or at anyone’s expense. It’s an empowering form of buffoonery. The show begins with the two women dressed as large rodent people making odd noises and offering a sacrifice to the gods. There’s nudity, sirens, an umbrella headdress, forgotten passwords, puns galore and supermarket musical numbers. It’s fun and whimsy on steroids. But there’s no style over substance. This is a show with tremendous heart and FIERCE intellect.
