🔮 DEEP & TENDER 2 - DAY PORTAL | CONNECTIVE ROPE 31.01 - 01.02 14:30-19:30 an introduction to Japanese-inspired rope practice through presence, communication and attuned touch 🤍 this winter we open the studio for a slow, connective exploration of rope held within the sensory sanctuary of Colour + Sense, Hackney Wick. 🎟️ beginner-friendly / intimate group open to individuals & couples. no previous rope experience required. 🪢 this workshop is rooted in connection. we move gently, working with simple ties and clear structures that prioritise safety, consent, and nervous system awareness. rope becomes a medium for listening ~ to sensation, to boundaries, to the subtle dialogue between bodies. rather than learning many techniques, we focus on how we are tying, and why. this is a space to build foundations ~ technical, emotional, and relational - so that rope can be explored with confidence, care, and creativity beyond the workshop. 🖤 facilitators Shibari Teacher: Shadowland @shadowland_shibari Shadowland has been practicing shibari since 2011 and brings extensive experience as a rigger. His teaching balances technical safety with an interest in ritual, intimacy, and intentional communication within rope practice.
