Rev. #JesseJackson, a towering giant of the Civil Rights Movement, has passed. I had the distinct honor of sharing a conversation with him a few years ago, an exchange I will forever treasure. He was that kind of leader: steadfast in struggle, relentless in hope, prophetic in courage. He pushed this nation higher, even when it resisted growth. He showed up when it was inconvenient. He spoke when silence was easier. He carried the dream forward with conviction and demanded that America live up to its promise. His presence was powerful, his voice unmistakable, his faith unshakable.
