"Stardust" Act V & The Finale of Over Yonder.
a photographic editorial series documenting the forgotten towns & landscapes of Texas.
The following passage was written by @abigailgrac.e for Over Yonder's print in @lewkmagazinetx for "Stardust"
"Every day is fueled by my dreams and thoughts of tomorrow, just to be weighed heavily by the present and its lonely sorrows.
At dawn, I find the sand dunes.
The sun rises slowly, spilling late light over an ocean of shifting gold. The dunes breathe under the wind, alive yet empty.
I stand alone in black from head to toe, a dark figure against a waking world, fabric wrapped close and silent as prayer.
The wind erases everything.
Paths, mistakes, the memory of who I was before arriving. Maybe obscurity doesn't mean disappearing. Maybe it means being free. Free from definition, free from witness, from anything that dares to confine what is still becoming. In the hush of sunrise, I feel it at last. Not belonging, but becoming- endlessly, quietly, unseen."

The ocean of life flows through me
show me what it is like to move through the waves of the world
Swam across
I crossed the line
all because of you,
underneath the stormy sky
I find peace
so let me dive
and devour me in ur depths
where fears release
embracing the unknown,
surrendering to the whims of the moment with ease
enticing me with the mysterious beauty
of life is to be
shine in everything you do
it was all made for you
to be loved by you
lived by you.
