🐾 Kitten season has arrived in SWFL… and the tiniest residents are starting to roll in.
Every spring (and much of the year in SWFL), shelters see an influx of newborn kittens who need extra care to survive and thrive. Right now, DAS needs Kitten Play Pens and foster homes to help give these little ones a safe place to grow until they’re ready for adoption.
Fostering saves lives, and we’ll provide the supplies, support, and kitten cuddles. 🍼🐱

Vaccines and microchips are two of the simplest ways to keep your pet safe and this May they’re available at a reduced cost right here in Collier County.
Collier County Domestic Animal Services is hosting a low-cost vaccine clinic from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 23 at East Naples Community Park.
A few minutes of prevention today can mean a lifetime of protection and a much faster reunion if your pet is ever lost.
Services available include
• Pet license registration
• Microchipping (with registration included)
• Rabies vaccination
• Distemper/parvo vaccination for dogs
• FVRCP vaccination for cats
Spots are limited and these clinics fill quickly. Appointments are strongly encouraged and walk-ups will be taken only if space allows.

Our shelter pups are officially in their summer era: splashing, swimming, zooming, and somehow still finding mud afterward. Honestly, they’re handling the heat better than we are 😂

Seeing everyone show up for these kittens, bring donations, and come together to support Collier County Domestic Animal Services was honestly so special. Moments like this are what community is all about. Getting to bring people together through movement while also giving back and helping animals in need means everything to us.
