Body transformation 2025 Was getting my ass kicked. It was like that scene where Neo goes “trinity help” Overwhelmed, grieving, people pleasing, not having fun, out of sync and out of alignment , my body told the story. Hit the reset button! Then it was like that part in the matrix where Neo’s trying to get back and says “mr wizard to get me hell out of here” And bOOm ! Now we are “beginning to believe” again. P.s you know shame , embarrassment all that stuff will stop us from actually living the life we want? Play your game it’s YOUR game #bodytransformations #fitness #bodypositivity #bodytransformation

Hey Siri set reminder : Not to take life too seriously When’s the last time you did something for the fun of it? Not the how will it look, the what will I get from it but the actual fun of it. @smilemoor and @shiana_x hit me with a question “Let’s hit the lake” I was like what? I had “That’s weird” and “Not now” and crazy resistance. You see as we go through this journey of life it appears to me we keep adding identities to ourselves. First you are a child, then a teen, then you are an engineer, then a runner , some profession , a this , a that. All those identities become heavy to bear and that inner child inside you that knew no bounds , that explored, that discovered, was an adventurer (that actually is responsible for all of your success ) can get buried inside of you. This can show in our lives as unfulfilment, feeling lost, staying incessantly busy and burnout. But that child inside of you is still in there , I know it! And they are present and waiting patiently for you to play with life again where all the wonder and joy and fulfilment is. We just gotta take a leap. No? Maybe P.s: Don’t sleep on the war cry slide1️⃣ that was ancestral 🐎🗡️💪🏿 #restday #wellness #healing #healingjourney #brotherhood #nature

💡This post touches on grief. Honouring you, Nan, with your boasy self. I guess you made it on the TV, but I didn’t think it would be like this. This Coletivating movement started long ago—here’s a share on my journey with grief, which took a young Black man on a path to business, riches, and everything under the sun that I thought I wanted at the time. But it sent me inward, connecting back to the heart, where I’m discovering the true riches lie. I saw the parts behind my mask that don’t make the reel—and to keep it real, there was a time I said I would never share this video publicly. Grief has been the most interesting, healing, heartbreaking, yet revealing experience I’ve ever gone through. As contradicting as that sentence sounds, it captures just a snippet of how grief can feel—so that sentence was intentional. So here we go… My Nan was my source of esteem—at least 60 percent of it. She was my first idea of safety, of unconditional love, and she shaped my concept of what love truly is. When I cared for her, I was clueless. I just wanted to help my sis, who was the main carer. Nan was the being I could hide my flaws behind, because I would always be met with a “It’s ok, Jonny bwoy.” She was your favourite rapper’s favourite nan. When she passed, my anchor of esteem went too—and then I entered the dark side of grief. Hidden within that was the blessing that helped lead me back to my heart. The inner child in me—and the adult version—were being asked to let go of an identity. That looked like: “find your self-esteem,” “find your self-love,” “play again with life.” It was no easy feat. It came with relapse after relapse: “I’m ok”—“no I’m not,” kicking and screaming… until I finally found the courage to just be with it. It was then I found my play again, found my joy again, and found a desire to dive deeper into this experience of life. We’ll take it from here, Nan ❤️ #InnerChildHealing #SelfDiscoveryJourney #Coletivating #bereavement #GriefJourney #HealingThroughGrief #GriefSupport #Grieving #Death #Caring #MentalWellbeing #Dementia

We are here to run. And run we did. Shout out to @wellrunbrum and sponsor @salomon Well run brum is a dope running club ran by @richardjloftus with a big focus on mental fitness check it out and hope to catch you at the next run. The Run: Duration: 4 hours Course: 2.5km laps Mission:Team of 4 , we take turns to rack up as many miles as possible. That run was fun team managed to get 18+ plus miles in collectively , the tricky part was the run-wait-run. Why? Well your legs would get cold! The best part was running alongside the super quick @thackeralex @louis.duck22 @pharaohdraws and coach @albertnobleseven who kept our minds right , gave us energy and kept my nutrition going 💪🏿. We came, enjoyed and it was the perfect event to warm up into a season of more running check out the slides… “Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are all noble pursuits, and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.” P.s last slide is from dead poets society 🎬

Training with @getfitwithdonz Warm up Ski Erg 150m + Dumbbell snatches X 10 (each arm) 3 times like the charm! Circuit 1: Clean squat to press x 10 Upright rows dumbbell x 10 Bent over flys x 10 Hammer curls x 10 Circuit 2: Trap bar deadlifts x 5 + Farmer carries x 5 steps (full length of gym) Broad jump burpees (full length of gym) Three times like a charm each circuit! Break was like 1 min between each circuit I have to say this was 🔥🔥 I had to give the session that dicaprio slow clap meme as I came in not thinking to be gassing within the first 10 mins 😮‍💨. Big thank you to @getfitwithdonz for the dope session . She keeps the space safe , instructs well and jumps in/ gives guidance when needed just don’t expect your delay tactics when you’re trying to get more rest to go unnoticed ! My highlight was by the third circuit on the hammer curls my bicep was so engorged I couldn’t hold the weight I felt like popeye - good stuff 💪🏿

On your marks…Superset ..Go Why I love supersets? Well I don’t ! But they are effective , while they are giving me some volume they are helping in this season build this one aspect to my game: - endurance (helping me on longer runs) I’m finding when my legs are already fatigued from the split squats, adding in some lunges oooo boy we are knocking on the door of the land of the titans! One last thing… look we all have that moment when we are running out of time in the gym, supersets can be help with that too , don’t go abusing that now! Only pull that card in emergencies 😝 #hybrid #running #gymlife #gym

Did you know… There’s an inner world of your internal feelings , states etc. much of which is within your control and an outer world where it all plays out the “world” you see around you Taken from an excerpt from the book the master key system: “The external world is a reflection of the internal world. By cultivating harmony and positivity within, one changes their outward circumstances” It just takes starting the fire of looking inwardly …and in the words of bane “the fire rises!” #fitnesslife #mindset #hybridathletetraining #hybrid #gym

Starting your fitness journey This is one of a series of posts around starting your fitness journey, hurdles, progressions and things to consider. 1. Embrace the beginner attitude . In starting anything new or even if you’ve been on the fitness path and came off, all is possible for the person taking to their activity as a beginner meaning they are curious , questioning and enthusiastic 2. Introspection is our best friend it enables us to not be so bogged down by things and also to see what may be in the way along your journey So here’s to you and your fitness journey whether starting new , returning or just needing a reminder and do share if this helps 💪🏿 #fitnessjourney #weightlossjourney #gettingfitagain #fitness

Taken by the tides of thinking …? Thoughts, they come and go but sometimes they take us far from the shore. How do we come back? How long have we been out in the sea of just thinking? Isn’t time we got back to the shore. Isn’t it time we dived back into living If anything resonates be sure 😉 to subscribe on the Coletivating site , link in bio we are expecting you 🫶🏿

What if our mood was a guide? First off a big thank you to Dr. Stephanie Fitzgerald for the interview and @psychologiesmagazine for the feature in the Sept’25 issue (timely) . Do check them out for more shares on topics like@this . Also for our journey 😉 check @ifemansa . Soo anyone into training or high performance activities will find that sometimes we have to override our mood. This can become debilitating over time… so what if there was another approach? My current take on mood / emotions is it appears to be an effect of something…we have a lot of sugar ➡️ hyper , we haven’t socialised a lot ➡️ lonely. Haven’t recovered from training ➡️ fatigued. Feeling safe ➡️ happy. So what if the emotion we feel is a helpful guide to something. Let’s get into these bars. In the Wizard Of Oz Dorothy uses the yellow brick road to lead her to the wizard who she believes can get her “home”During her journey every fear / doubt she encounters reveals something helpful about herself. Similarly our moods can act like this too. Feeling anxious ? Maybe we are thinking about the future too much / controlling outcomes? Feeling joyful ? Perhaps we are in alignment right now. Mood shouldn’t be a master but can be a helpful servant in informing us how we can return back “home” to ourselves. #mentalhealth #fitness #mindset #wellbeignjourney #kansasisgoingbyebye #healingjourney #moodboster
