Hamelin was recently honored to join his dear friend Manny Ax during the inaugural season of WQXR’s Classical Happy Hour podcast. If you ever imagined what it would be like to be a fly on the wall when two of the greatest pianists of our time were chatting, now is your chance! Read more about this and all the exciting things @marcandreham is up to this season in our latest Newsletter!
Terra Infirma, written by composer Reena Esmail, is described by Reena as a one-woman monodrama. I can’t think of a better way to characterize this work. A concerto for harp and percussion (in which I serve as both harpist and percussionist), Terra Infirma is a highly theatrical work that portrays the harp as the protagonist on a journey. Throughout the piece, the harp, which symbolizes Earth, is moved choreographically across the stage as I make my way through various percussion sets. It’s a piece that stretches the sonic boundaries of the harp to their fullest, and I am so thrilled to release the world premiere recording of Terra Infirma on Azica Records next week!
The album releases digitally on April 17th (available for pre-save now) and via physical CD on May 15th!
✨ OUT TODAY ✨
Our 8th (!) album for @chandosrecords , In Her Hands, is officially out in the world and available on all platforms.
Featuring music by Cécile Chaminade, Clara Schumann, and Dora Pejačević, this album honors women who placed their lives and their art firmly in their own hands. Against expectation and constraint, they carved their own paths, claimed their voices, and shaped their musical lives on their own terms. We hope their music offers not only beauty, but a quiet invitation to take the reins into your own hands.
We’re so proud to share this with you. Come celebrate the release with us in person at @kingsplacelondon on February 12 and 13! (Ticket 🎫 link in bio)

On the @grammys red carpet, in a conversation with @reuters we were asked why chamber music still matters.
Our answer was simple:
In a world that often feels disconnected and short on empathy, chamber music is about caring for one another. It’s about listening closely, responding in real time, and connecting on an intimate, human level—something our world needs more than ever.
That spirit of care and connection is at the heart of everything we do as the Neave Trio, and it’s what we hope audiences feel when they’re in the room with us.
We’re deeply looking forward to sharing that experience for a milestone moment at @kingsplacelondon

CHOPIN sans CHOPIN is @adamgolkapianist 's upcoming brilliant album, released on FHR 15 May 2026. Delighted to share a promo video for the album containing tracks from the album. There will be further live footage from the recording being published up until the album is released.
'Chopin sans Chopin is Adam Golka’s highly personal tribute to Frédéric Chopin, featuring works inspired by Chopin instead of music by the master himself. The album includes a collection of international composers of the 19th and 20th centuries, including choices inspired by Golka’s Polish-American background and unique family history. The album includes a première recording of the 1894 Mazurka in E minor by Natalia Janotha (1856–1932). This is Golka’s fourth album on FHR.'
