Happy New Year from your friends at Co/Function! It’s been a good one! We did 11 events at @h0l0.nyc that’s 33 hours of improvisational music! This Wednesday, three new artists join the session to embark on a musical journey where neither the players or the audience knows the destination. Then the audience will become the players themselves for our open jam from 12:30-2. This round we have invited @celebritybitcrush who has been dialing in his modular live set through many NYC performances. We also have renowned Producer, DJ and studio engineer @alexandergentil bringing elements of his sound. To top it off we have experimental jazz artist @thomaswoodwarddavis joining on the keys. New session incoming this Wednesday night at @h0l0.nyc - Salar Ansari @passedoutonapersianrug is joining us from Detroit, bringing with him a depth of live electronic experiences from recent appearances at Movement, and Can You Jigit, plus recent collab with Shigeto. We also have Tim O’Keefe @tfomusic joining us for a second time, after an incredible session last year. Plus we have the debut guest performance of @waterscapenyc who joined us initially in a past open jam session. Come experience the session live with us and see what unfolds as five audio artists combine forces to improvise music together, and two visual artists, @kastakila_ & @brewnzzz create layers of light accompaniment 🌀 Tickets on RA - link in bio!

For July’s session we took it back to the roots! After some super last minute technical difficulties at H0l0 we were unable to do the session there, so we switched it up and jammed in @tj_mcau & @taboh.music basement studio. It’s not the exact same place we started, but jamming at home did feel right… Stay tuned for our next session back in the main room at @h0l0.nyc on August 13th!
