240 conversations about mental health.
This past Christmas, Coffee Foundation brought its stigma-fighting superpowers to @montreuxnoel .
Thanks to the generosity of @lindt and our partnership with Heart2Heart / @143.ch , we sold 240 Lindt chocolate hearts with every purchase of our mental health awareness pins.
Hundreds of pins were sold, sparking 240 real conversations about mental health, vulnerability, and human connection⌠and who knows what incredible butterfly effect those conversations may have created throughout the community. â¤ď¸

đ Weâre incredibly honoured to receive a DIELINE Awards 2026 Merit Award for Coffee Foundation.
With more than 1,500 entries from nearly 40 countries, DIELINE is recognised as one of the worldâs leading global packaging and brand design competitions â celebrating the very best in creativity, innovation, execution, and on-pack branding.
To see Coffee Foundation recognised alongside some of the worldâs biggest brands, agencies, and design studios honestly feels surreal.
Coffee Foundation was never created to sell coffee or sell products. It was built to challenge silence, stigma, and the way society speaks about mental health â thatâs why we say: CALL US CRAZY!
Thank you to @thedieline , the jury, and everyone who continues to believe in our dream: a world where mental health receives the same care and compassion as physical health.
Fight with us or just CALL US CRAZY! ââ¤ď¸

Last night was one of those rare, deeply human moments. â¤ď¸
I was incredibly honoured to be given a voice and to host the Beyond Burnout â Breaking the Stigma Around Mental Health at Work event at @imdbusinessschool Alumni Club of Lausanne.
Iâve always believed that integrating lived experience into healthcare and social systems is not just important â itâs essential for truly recovery-oriented mental health care. Last night, that belief came to life.
Together with psychiatrist Dr. Estelle Gillès de PÊlichy, we created a space where real, sometimes uncomfortable, but necessary conversations happened.
From youth mental health to workplace burnout⌠from the silent struggles of employees to the superheroes who care for them â mums, dads, partners, and friends â we touched on topics that affect every single one of us, directly or indirectly.
It wasnât perfect.
It was raw at times.
It was authentic.
And it was powerful.
Mental health can no longer be a taboo. We canât afford it to be.
Today, mental health is everyoneâs business â especially in organisations.
A conversation can save a life. ââ¤ď¸

WE DID IT. đŤś
Thatâs a wrap. Hundreds of hours of hard work and passion â The Mental Health Association Switzerlandâs public awareness campaign film now moves into the next stage⌠and there is still so much more work to be done.
But when you reach mountain peaks with great people, you have to pause, reflect, and give gratitude to those around you who took the risk to climb with you.
What started as a simple conversation â when @fabgoupil asked, âHey, can I talk to you?â last year at a Coffee Foundation Call Us Crazy event â an idea, a vision⌠became something real, built on trust, courage, and bravery.
To every single person who gave their all â your time, your energy, your emotion, and your belief â thank you.
Massive love to Jacob for your guidance, support, and for producing this with @korner.studios đ
We didnât just create a film⌠we created something that can help save lives.

Climbing mountains is always better with strong women who lift you up.
Truly blessed to meet so many incredible people at @tedxgvagrad@graduateinstitute â but these two women are made of passion and heart.
Not just for what they do⌠but for who they are.
Kind, present, generous with their energy â the kind of people who donât just speak about authenticity, they live it.
@elenaservettaz â investigative journalist @swissinfo.ch_en and documentary filmmaker, telling stories that matter with courage and depth.
@leonildarenaldo â bringing emotional intelligence and leadership together in a way that reminds us that our imperfections are not weaknesses, but our strength.
Powerful, intelligent, authentic⌠and unafraid to speak truth in a world that often asks for perfection.
Grateful for the conversations, the energy, and the reminder that when we show up as we are, we give others permission to do the same.
This is what itâs all about. â¤ď¸

Spotlight: Damien OâBrien đŚđşâ
From Redfern to Switzerland, Damien OâBrien is turning a simple ritual into a powerful force for change.
After a deeply personal journey shaped by adversity, Damien founded the Coffee Foundation â using coffee as a catalyst for real conversations around mental health. What started as one conversation has grown into a global movement.
To date, the initiative has delivered $27,000+ in direct donations to frontline suicide prevention and youth mental health organisations, while driving broader awareness and impact.
Damienâs mission is simple but powerful: make mental health prevention as accessible and stigma-free as physical health.
Because sometimes, it starts with something small â a coffee, a pause, a conversation. And that conversation can save a life.
Weâre very proud to spotlight Damien as part of our global community â Australians making an extraordinary impact around the world.
#GoFurtherTogether #GlobalAustralians #AmbitionWithAPassport
He met us at Place de la Palud in a red suit, impossible to ignore. But what stays with us isnât the colour, itâs what heâs willing to talk about.
After years of silence, loss, and hitting rock bottom, Damien OâBrien is now doing something deceptively simple: inviting people to sit down over a coffee and start a conversation about mental health.
Through @coffee.foundation , that small gesture is becoming something much bigger: opening up conversations many of us still struggle to have.
Because more often than not, the hardest thing to do is also the simplest: to sit down, and ask.

Iâm terrified to be stepping onto the red carpet at @TEDxGVAGrad next week at the @graduateinstitute in Geneva as a 2026 speaker. đ
The theme is âMay You Live in Interesting Times.â My talk wonât be filled with mental-health washing, expert jargon, or expert statistics.
It will be about something much deeper â no scripts, no actors, no coaching.
My talk is not just my story â itâs the story of many others as well.
It is the voice of the millions of people who are silenced by fear, depression, or that inner voice that tells us not to seek support because we will be judged or stigmatized by the one thing that scares us most in life: âcrazyâ â mental illness.
I want to take a moment to thank the many superheroes who have supported me on this crazy journey and helped me reach this stage.
You know who you are â I hope I make you proud. â¤ď¸

After an extraordinary and highly decorated career in male modelling, Damien has officially retired from the runway. đŽ
Following decades of intense modelling work across world markets, charity events, merchandise launches, and the occasional TED stage at @tedxgvagrad ⌠itâs finally time to hang up the cheekbones.
So now we are looking for new faces to get behind what might just be the worldâs greatest mental health awareness movement.
Weâre searching for fresh new looks to model our upcoming merchandise range.
But thatâs not allâŚ
Weâre also looking for CRAZY ideas đĽ
Photographers, artists, creatives, students, dreamers â anyone who wants to showcase their talent without rules.
The crazier the concept, the better.
Letâs create something bold, fun, and meaningful together.
Because sometimes starting a conversation about mental health begins with doing something a little crazy.
