The first installment of Side B at @fiftyfiftywinebar with @codyray came to a close last night. Across his four shows in April, he played solo and also brought @brother.bingo@a.r.thomass@johnhooker@tony_tortura@craigpratt@cheetara09@j8elise and @nicholasedwardwilliams along for the ride. Even if you went to just one of his shows, I know you felt some sort of connection — kinda impossible not to. ✨
From the man himself: “These four shows have proven to be a little creative nudge that I needed. Because we worked together to make each week unique and because we added collaborators, I found new ways to perform my songs, and I heard my friends add new things to my music I didn’t know was possible. 50/50 as a space was a joy to make music in, and everyone on staff felt excited every week for what was happening. The support that 4 gigs in a month offers is massive and always worth mentioning.“

It’s always a pleasure capturing a band that genuinely loves sharing their music with the crowd. The New Quintet celebrated their album release with two sold-out nights at The Woodshop, and I was lucky enough to photograph night two.
They took the room on a musical journey that left everyone wanting more, and as always, The Woodshop provided the perfect setting for such a special night.
