I was fortunate to be selected as one of the six artists participating in the @belfastcitycouncil and @seedheadarts Street Art Mentoring Program.
I have been extremely fortunate to receive mentorship from @mydogsighs , and this week I traveled to Portsmouth for Lookup Paint festival then an extra few days to learn various techniques from MyDogsighs that I can incorporate into my work, including experimenting with transparent paint and embroidery effects.
Yesterday, we practiced some embroidery in the studio and then went out to install a piece in the city. I am absolutely buzzing with how my first piece turned out and I'm really looking forward to applying this in my work.
I finally had the opportunity to put the @capadaptor into practice, which is a game changer

28yr Speyside Distillery Single Malt Whisky distilled 1997 and matured in a refill bourbon hogshead. 45%abv. 263 bottles. Β£120.

Im definitely looking forward to painting more down at this spot this year as it's right at my doorstep, and in my opinion, one of the best for all levels of painters. It's really cool to see the younger ones now utilising it to learn and practise their peices, big shout out to everyone who did their thing on Saturday.

This year is already filling up with some really cool projects, and this is just one of those, so I'm very excited to announce that I am now collaborating with @giant.sculptures .
I'll be painting a few of their sculptures over the next couple of weeks. We have the big bear and a few of the smaller bears to work on.
