Across two levels at 1 Market St, Sydney, the CoDesign + Sheldon team worked alongside @madeforstudio to deliver a stunning new workplace for one of Australia's leading technology firms. Serving as a hub for both staff and clients to collaborate, there are no shortage of unique spaces, connected via a consistent material language closely aligned to the clients branding.

When Sheldonâs manufacturing team arenât creating joinery solutions for our workplaces, theyâre looking for ways to support and grow the surrounding bush areas of the factory đŠ
Last week, the team used their skills to create a set of bird and insect boxes for native species, including parrots, owls, thrushes, rosellas, kookaburras, and bees.
This is part of Sheldonâs wider ESG goal, along with a range of land regeneration and native species protection initiatives led by the Sheldon and CoDesign teams.

Highlighting the design story behind CoDesign + Sheldonâs latest workspace, this project draws on Sydneyâs natural landscape and the clientâs identity, with cultural storytelling expressed through decals, acoustic panels and a Tapeti rug by Wiradjuri artist Cara Shields.
Biophilic touches such as suspended planters and integrated joinery create a calming atmosphere, while a soft, contemporary palette ensures the space feels both professional and welcoming.

Our design team's commitment to creating adaptable and culturally enriched office spaces was recently showcased in a government fitout, where they curated a dynamic display of prints from Indigenous artists, @amanda_hinkelmann_art , Juliette Nakamarra Morris, Elise Napanangka Granites and Shanna Napanangka Williams.
Hinkelmannâs works embody a deep connection to Country, passed down through generations. Morrisâs Dreaming-inspired pieces capture the natural rhythms and traditions of the land, while Williamsâ art, rich in symbolism, blends ancestral stories with contemporary expression.
More than additional design elements, these pieces recognise connection, respect, and understanding, supporting our mission to honour the histories and communities that shape the places we both live and work.

Project Complete!
CoDesign + Sheldon have officially delivered an office extension right in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.
With a growing team, this government agency needed to expand their workspace while keeping the added area aligned with the already existing office space in both style and form.
By repurposing furniture from the initial fit-out, the Codesign + Sheldon internal teams took a sustainable approach to the expansion while still providing a balanced mix of privacy, security, and practicality to the fitout.
