Our panelists are @janamalerka and @shotolahardtstudio from Blackfish Gallery. Jana is an artist who immigrated to the US from the Czech Republic. Christopher is an artist and musician, who is the son and grandson of war refugees from Eastern Europe. Teressa Raiford is the founder and executive director of @dontshootpdx , an arts and education organization that promotes social justice and civic participation with year-round programming. Tai Carpenter is the director of @theblackgallerypdx , an extension of DSPDX, where art and activism intersect. Our moderator is @melissacasburn , who is a senior design leader and board member of the @codesigncollab . Yesterday, creative leaders in branding, healthcare, the built environment, engineering, and client and user experience came together @pagethink , now Stantec, for Teresa Brazen’s Inspirational Leadership Masterclass. Teresa challenged us to lead with curiosity, to audit the strategic necessity of our core working relationships and to be coach leaders that inspire our teams to also lead. We left with a toolkit that will support this work and committed to implementing one, small and immediate change towards become better leaders.
