John Wild is an artist, originally from Rotherham, who works across sculpture, performance, sound, video, electronics and machine learning to research the futures imminent within digital technology. His current research focuses on critical artificial intelligence narratives and the poetics of digital infrastructure. John has presented his work internationally. Most recently, his collaborative project The Forest, created in partnership with Shira Wachsmann and Tom Simmons, was exhibited as part of the WeatherSpores AI exhibition at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi. In 2025, Symbiogenesis (Wild & Wachsmann) was exhibited in Germany as part of the Chemnitz 2025: European Capital of Culture PurplePath programme, and as part iklectik Art Lab, London. John has presented his work at Transmediale (Berlin), iMAL (Brussels), Late at the Tate (Tate Britain), Barbican (London), Catalyst Arts (Belfast), [SPACE] Art + Technology residency and the Royal College of Art.
