of course we had to visit the south melbourne markets during our trip~ it’s probably the next most popular farmers’ market after queen vic👸
here’s what we got:
• the ugo (porchetta foccacia sandwich) from
@ugo_burrata_bar 🐷
• beef pie from
@smalltownpieco 🥧
• iced latte from
@codeblackcoffee ☕️
i was literally overwhelmed with options the minute i stepped into the food section of the market… what intrigued me was the wide variations of pies and baked goods by
@smalltownpieco , ranging from sweet to savoury so i had to try them out! the beef pie was tasty and filling😋
i remembered the last time i came to south melb market i had the ugo sandwich and LOVED IT, safe to say it has maintained its standards! i loved the salsa verde which was herby and flavourful, and the soft and fluffy foccacia🥪 i also liked that they had the option of purchasing just half because this half was already enough for me😂
can’t go without a coffee in the morning so we headed to
@codeblackcoffee for an iced latte, which the staff gave great recommendations according to what you were feeling that morning. the lady recommended this easter special coffee blend that was strong! i personally can’t really tell what’s good coffee but this seemed like one👀
overall really enjoyed my visit to
@southmelbournemarket ❤️
