In the words of Ferris Bueller, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
Turning 30 doesn’t seem right because I swear I just got to my 20’s — but then I got to thinking about some highlights from my 20s, and it kind of made sense.
I got married, graduated college, moved, got a “real” job and then another one and then another one. I started a company @reelview_productions and began working for myself, started a film festival @afffestival , traveled to a bunch of different countries, made some films and then a few more — and that doesn’t even sum it all up because there’s just too much more.
So yeah, I guess I’m in my 30s now, and that’s freakin’ awesome — because let’s be real, being in your 20s is overrated.

How fast time flys by, 2026 here we come. Time for a little life update.
Laurel and I had quite the year—growing our businesses, traveling, chasing passion projects, and truly enjoying married life. 🤍
Laurel’s photography business has been blowing up—go check out her incredible work @images_by_laurel . My company @reelview_productions is starting to take root and gain real traction, and we’re incredibly thankful for everyone who supported our businesses in one way or another this year.
We were blessed to travel to some amazing places, including Honduras, all over Texas and surrounding states, and most recently Thailand with our church on a vision trip. I’d love to share more about those experiences soon. 🌍✈️
On the work front, 2025 was a big one. I had the opportunity to work on some incredible projects and help great friends bring their ideas to life. I also did something a little crazy and started a film festival back in October @afffestival . It went amazingly well. I’m really excited to grow it this next year and continue helping build and support the film industry here in Texas. You’ll get to see some of my newest work early next year.
Bandit is doing great too—keeping the house lively with his shenanigans and dorky personality. He’s also a big fan of the new company logo. 🐶

Now I can finally say I have ”Broke Bad.”
If you didn’t know, I’m a huge fan of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. A couple of weeks ago, I went on a tour of Albuquerque, the setting of the shows, and where most of the shooting locations were.
It was a bit surreal going to the places that have inspired many of my creative ideas and visions, and I’m so glad I got to share them with my partner in crime. @laurel2002
We recreated a couple of shots that I felt like sharing. One more thing has been checked off my bucket list, and there is plenty more to go.
