This past weekend, I had the incredible honor of choreographing two pieces for the Abilene Ballet Theatre Spring Showcase 2026.
One of the dances, La Follia, has truly become a legacy piece in my life. I was first taught this beautiful work by one of my former mentors, Lily Balogh, and now I have the joy of passing it on to two of my own students. Being able to carry on that tradition feels incredibly special and full-circle.
My second piece was especially close to my heart. It was dedicated to my PePaw. Growing up, we would always dance together to this song, and it holds so many cherished memories for me. I’ve dreamed of choreographing a piece to it for years, and finally bringing that vision to life was deeply meaningful.
Thank you to everyone who came out to support this wonderful performance, and a huge thank you to my amazing dancers who poured their hearts into every rehearsal. I’m so proud of you all!
I am so incredibly proud of my sister Kinley. She and her theater troop made MainStage and brought home many awards. I am so proud of the performer she is but also the dedicated and fearless, and Jesus loving girl that she is. Congratulations to the entire troop! @mrs.zpas
I am so incredibly blessed to be able to travel the world with all of my best friends and make the best memories. Here’s to the old adventures and the ones to come! 🥂✈️🗺️
