We celebrate the artists within our community who are shaping the sound of tomorrow. This includes Music Director Chi-Yuan Lin, @chiyuanlin_070 soloist Coco Mi @coco_mi4 , Principal Flutist Melissa Lindon @flutemelisma , and the musicians of Avanti Orchestra, whose voices and artistry continue to define and move our field forward.
We join this movement to recognize that who stands on the podium shapes the future of our art, and that greater representation is essential to where classical music is going.

Welcome to Ensemble Connect, Coco!
Coco Mi (she/they) is a violinist from Princeton, New Jersey. When asked what she’s most looking forward to, Coco said: “I’m looking forward to building a community that will inspire, support, and ignite everyone involved!! Chamber music is one of my greatest passions so I’m excited to learn about everyone musically and as people, and to share our energy with others through performance, outreach, and teaching!” In her free time, Coco runs a concert series in bars that pairs cocktails with classical music. Coco graduated with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Juilliard School and expects to complete her artist diploma in 2026. 📸: Titilayo Ayangade
