Very stoked on how it came out. This is the second iteration of a shape/ mold I was testing at the end of 2024 that did not last very long in the wild. Stoked to make another one - who’s got a good spot for it?

Experiment New Jersey Tomato Pie Redux
Sliced Mozzarella, Tomato Sauce, Vegetarian Italian Sausage, Basil
I wanted to make this upside pie again because I wasn’t happy with how it came out the first time. The sliced Mozzarella melted real nice and creamy. There was a little too much tomato sauce but it still worked out. Sausage and basil was an extra touch of flavor although the basil started bruising as soon as it hit the pie. 10/10 will bake again.

I make this arugula & cherry tomato white pie all the time. It’s fuckin’ bitchin’.
But my favorite part of the pie is how it looks fresh out of the oven before it gets dressed.
