2025 was a pretty good year.
I worked on about 20ish films. (4 features)
Got to work with a sound team! (Go @lime_audio and @gregzeppelin )
Had to clean up slime twice
Saw my first Sauce Day
Traveled to about 5 places outside of Long Island & the city for filming
Reached out to @nphawkstudios to pull in extras for a film
Got to watch a film that I helped make on the big screen
Very excited for next year to see more films I have worked on come out and to create more.
Last year I said I was not the most optimistic about the industry but now I somehow am feeling more optimistic than I was then. Just a little bit.
Last but not least if we worked on a set together and have photos please send them! Love collecting photos from sets.
Coloring & Editing "30 MINUTES OR ELSE", Directed by @coby.creates and @cohn.andrew with Cinematography by @derk.muzzle
Starring @adam_brett_ & @robbiebrase
This film is a witty, sharp, and sweet little film that I loved being a part of, all about a Pizza Delivery Guy and his evil AI assistant. I dont get to do many comedies (mostly because not many folks make em, myself included) so this was really fun to make.
On this film I served as the Editor, Sound Designer, and Colorist. The goal with this grade was for a bit of an edgy pulp style. High color grain in the highlights with deep color separation and poppy reds. The film has a sort of crime/high fiction feel, and the grade serves to reflect that.

Back in March, Brimstone, which was my third feature I did sound on from start to finish wrapped. It was an amazing learning experience as we were mostly in one location, which made things simpler overall except for the trains that went by every few minutes. It was a pretty tight space, which made some of the wider or handheld shots more difficult for booming, but as with all filmmaking, it is just problem solving. Seperately, I definitely feel I took a big step on learning how to use lavs better because of this set. With trial and error, I was able to figure out what works and understand what equipment to get in the future.
It was great working with an amazing cast and crew. I am excited about this project and will share when it comes out and where it is in the far future.
Also, yes, one of these photos is not like the other. We had charleschesslerphotography taking photographs on set for the film and decided to do a funny photoshoot. Will share more of that another time.
Shifting Space was my second full feature I did as the sound person. This film was super fun to work on because it was really ambitious. It had a ton of different locations and a few scenes with a large number of people needed to create some of the scenes. I definitely got a new understanding of how to film and, more specifically, get sound recording for a ton of different kinds of scenarios. The crew and cast were amazing and a ton of fun to work with, and I really hope to work with them again. Thanks, @sophiaabrams , for choosing me as your sound person.
Also, I definitely had a big surprise on the first day when at 8 am, after getting off the LIRR train, our icebreaker was to start dancing as a group. I was definitely trying not to fall asleep more than I was dancing.
Crazy how I got on this project because of @uptowngirl_film@theclubcreates
Will share it when it comes out
You thought I was done spamming your feed about "End of the World"? Nope not yet. Link is in bio. Watch it!
Filming End of the World was an amazing experience because like other films, it put our skills and plans to the test. Such as
Image 1: With any film set you need continuity but what do you do if something breaks in the middle of filming but you need it to keep continuity? In our case it was a chair that lost two of its legs so naturally we propped it up at the table with all of the other chairs. It worked really well considering you can't tell in the film but while filming every single person in the picture including me then tried to sit or lean on the chair making it completely collapse again and again and again.
Image 2: This was our final day filming and it was luckily our shortest cause it ended up being one of the hottest days of the year (2022). We actually filmed this during a heat wave luckily we were inside most of the time.
Image 3: We filmed "End of the World" during the weird time of 2022 where the world was just getting out of COVID and into a new normal but protocols were a bit uncertain so hence why you see a lot of masks.
Image 4: During pre-production when figuring out plans for filming my DP @rich__e_rich came up with the idea to film the TV portions of the film on a Sony HVR-A1U. To the non camera people like me that is an older camera that records on tape. He suggested it to give it a different look from the main shots that are not on the TV.
Image 5: I really wanted to create small details that you can only notice if you really looked for them. @hannahdalyxx really helped create a lot of little things such as this magazine cover that looks real!
Just over a year ago (1 day off) I started @coby.creates . I remember realizing that if I want to do work in film I need to advertise myself as someone who does it and it definitely has worked.
I would not have believed you if you told me a year ago I would work on over 30 films this year, work on multiple features, have End of the World get into two film festivals, and have people find me for their film set through this account.
Obviously not all of that was caused by this account but definitely some of it was. Connection is a big part of filmmaking and this has been an amazing way to connect with people. I hope next year to create a film or two and have all the amazing people I met on different sets meet each other. We shall see if or when that happens.
I am excited for the next year. Hopefully the industry gets a bit better. Current outlook looks pretty grim, but thanks everyone for making this year amazing. Sorry I can't tag everyone.
Hey if we worked on a film this year and you have photos from it would love to have them. Also if the film is finished please send it to me thanks.
End of the World is finally out. Link in bio!
Towards the end of my college career my friends and I realized that if we wanted to do film after school we would need to create our own projects to start as there is no clear path in this industry (basically college gives you a flickering flashlight and says good luck). We got some friends from Brooklyn College and New Paltz together to create the crew. Then we just needed a cast which Rich, Keith, and I found on backstage and we filmed it all in 4 days back in the summer of 2022 (It was a heat wave). Yes it has been awhile (hence the masks, Covid was still a bit of a presence in our lives), we ran into some problems in post production and then we needed to wait to hear from Film festivals. As I have shared we did get into two festival @longislandfilmexpo and @yofifest which were both amazing experiences I am glad to have had.
