@nmihorg and @marissabaezart put our images into an early 20th century blue print machine. Using an arc lamp that moves up and down inside a glass tube, it pulled our cyanotype prints around in a loop with a fabric belt. So that’s pretty amazing. Looking forward to future visits in this lovely museum.
The only suitable song for this post would be anything by The Deposits or Perry and The Red Fox. On the way to Erin’s paused to roam around some of my favorite spots @alfreduniversity
My radio shows used to be inside this castle, felt like I was late for class in Kanakadea, the buildings and streets are now named for people who were leaders and professors when I was there, the hairpin turn feels the same, I have missed this bandstand and the box of books still holds many treasures.
First Friday at @nmihorg with Deirdre, Grace, @adriennejmcneil , some amazing Lehigh students and our new friend Frank. Can’t wait to go back and spend more time with the printing machines. 🤩
