City Montessori School organised the CMS Teachers' Thanksgiving Function 2026 to honour the invaluable contribution of teachers & principals, celebrate the achievements of meritorious students & alumni across various academic disciplines, and reaffirm the importance of value-based education in shaping future generations.
It was a privilege to welcome Shri Yogendra Upadhyay (
@yogendra_upadhyaya ), the Honourable Cabinet Minister of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh, as the Chief Guest at the ceremony. Appreciating CMS teachers for their remarkable contribution towards nation-building, the Honourable Minister emphasised that value-based education is essential for the holistic development of younger generations.
The event was further elevated by the presence of our distinguished Guests of Honour, Dr Joseph Emmanuel (

Dr Emmanuel remarked that education plays a vital role in the constructive development of society. He expressed happiness that the torch of unity, peace, and harmony lit by our revered founder, the late Dr Jagdish Gandhi, through education, is being carried forward with dedication by CMS teachers.
In his address, Dr Vikram Singh (
@drvikramsinghips ) stated that education is not merely confined to bookish knowledge but also encompasses life values, which establish CMS educators in the role of true ‘gurus’.
The event was inaugurated by the dignitaries, marking the beginning of a grand celebration dedicated to academic excellence, gratitude, and educational values.
