Columbia has landed at Ellis Brigham!
To celebrate, GirlsTrek brought together 30 women for a Sunday stroll through the city, wandering to Castlefield Viaduct, along the canals, and soaking up Manchester’s hidden green spaces 🌿
The morning ended with brunch bites, refreshments, and a hands on workshop with @nots___ where we crafted our own phone & camera charms (obsessed).
Of course, no visit is complete without a browse of the new women’s collection - functional and super cute in the nicest summery colours! We each left with a bag and one of Columbia’s iconic fleeces and let’s just say, they haven’t come off since 🤍

Yesterday Team CG headed over to the @hoka_eu nowhere store to take part in the community trail race.
In typical peaks fashion we had all 4 seasons which made it a perfect testing ground for the new speedgoat 7s.
It’s fair to say we tested them to the max too as we took home the win 🏆
Thanks to @hoka_eu for the invite and putting on a great event. Massive shoutout to all the other communities that came through and made it a sick day all round.

GirlsTrek’s first panel 🤩!!
On Sunday we were invited to speak as panelists at the Women Who Move Mountains event at Arc’teryx Manchester store. Hosted by the brilliant @ambrmcknzie , alongside inspiring panelists @hollytoothill_ and @revert_to_reality_hiker , we shared our journeys and perspectives on community & experiences being women in the outdoors. Ace to hear from our amazing fellow speakers and the insightful audience Q&A - thank you to those who made it (and to those who have ever come along on a GT walk 🥰)

It was a very wet day on the Hathersage & Grindleford circular but we didn’t let that stop us. Muddy boots & good chats, what a solid start to the year!
