Our goal is to help promote and showcase carefully curated designs through story telling. Our aim is to capture the artist, their work, and their story. My name is Charlie Matar, and my passion lies within the Architecture and design industry. Throughout my career, I was interested in the idea that I could better the lifestyles of individuals and the built environment. My research consisted of cross disciplinary research in architectural and landscape design. I have developed a deep curiosity for the merging of both disciplines into a sustained ecosystem. Between the natural and the built, I enjoy drawing connections through the celebration of raw and honest materials. In my spare time, I continue to pursue my creative side with free hand sketches. Throughout my career, I have grown a love and appreciation for how the design industry is digitally represented. From the construction/production process through to completion. I thought I would tell you my story before you trust me with yours. Here’s to another full-circle moment. As some of you may already know, I studied both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Architecture and worked in the field for a number of years before going all in on cmarc. Prior to that, I spent around five years at @staffordarchitecture , gaining so much experience and insight into the industry. For the majority of my time there, I had the privilege of working on this incredible home in Watsons Bay and now, years later, being commissioned to capture it as it nears completion feels pretty special.
