I’m really proud of ‘Blips’ from my second album, Bite The Modern World. One thing we love in the studio is building up epic-sounding outros, and this one was no exception. Here John and our longtime collaborator @cmacblank are in the B room at Blank, layering what eventually became a bass guitar solo of all things... Chris later shared a video of that bit being recorded - /p/BpeOMrfhsia - and subsequently told us a bassist from another band had learned the part and was playing it while tuning up for their own session!

Our Making Tracks groups Sept to Dec 2024… we are going to miss them! BUT, some of them will be back, progressing to the next level of the course this month.
