I met the cast of @critical_role today and I still can't believe it?!? The people in my phone are real and I saw them!!?! They were genuinely the loveliest people and even though our meeting was quick it was absolutely wonderful and I'm so so glad and fortunate to have had this opportunity! These people have changed my life in so many amazing ways. They've made me stronger and more willing to push myself. They are the reason I've met so many people who have become my dearest friends and are my biggest inspiration when it comes to cosplay and growing. To have them compliment my cosplay, a cosplay that was born from the love of their show felt so fulfilling and the biggest confidence boost ever! Thank you @critical_role for coming to Australia! Pike Trickfoot, the cosplay that sparked my passion for cosplay stronger than ever before! The cosplay where I decided to jump in the deep end of creation and make armour despite having very little experience with foam, the cosplay that introduced me to sewing despite feeling overwhelmed with it (my sewing machine is lovingly named Trickfoot because of this), the cosplay I was so proud of I decided to enter my first competition which has sparked a desire in me to continue competing! Basically long story short this cosplay means a lot to me and to see proper photos of it in such a gorgeous location has made me so unbelievably happy and proud! Very much a case of ‘I can’t believe I did that’ and ‘I can’t believe that’s me’ but I did and it is! Thank you @ham.cosplay.photog for this wonderful photo and such an incredible shoot! A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending Level Up Tasmania and competing in their cosplay competition and guess what… I won best constructed!! Toriel was originally intended to be a competition piece so finally getting that moment to take her on stage AND winning with her was so fulfilling. ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!! I’m 24 today (my lucky number!) and to celebrate I hosted a fantasy picnic! It was so much fun and I’m so glad I got to spend the day with some of my favourite people!!! I’m also so happy with how the outfit turned out! I made the best myself and doing all the patchwork was so time consuming but so worth it!

Look at my beautiful smart son, look at him read his book, isnt he great 🥰🥰 ~ Mister is one of favourite things I’ve ever made!! It was truly so much fun to watch this little guy come together! From sculpting his head, hands and feet from foam clay, patterning and hand stitching his body out of a thrifted fur vest, and brushing out (so much) yarn to make his tuft of hair and little beard this guy was a labour of love and I’m so incredibly proud of it! 🔥🔥GOAT🔥🔥 Last year at @paxaus I committed to the bit and did a full goat weekend which included Goat from Cult of the Lamb! This was particularly cool considering there was an offical @cultofthelambofficial booth there!!! This is actually my first time sharing photos of this cosplay which I’m honestly surprised but because I LOVE IT! It’s honestly become one of my favourite cosplays! It’s so comfortable whilst still having that dramatic cosplay effect, plus it was a great opportunity to push myself a bit further in my makeup! We received the sad news yesterday that @iconphotofest won’t be returning in 2026. This event has had such an amazing impact on my life so I wanted to showcase the many amazing photos and memories that have been created over the past 4 years. I remember being so nervous about the first Icon, I had never really done a proper photoshoot before so the imposter syndrome was real. I almost didn’t sign up, thinking that I wouldn’t suit this kind of event, but I pushed myself to do it and I’m so glad I did. The first ICON allowed me to feel the most beautiful I had ever felt. I received photos back that I truly couldn’t fathom being me but they were! And let me tell you this did wonders for 18 year old Clover’s (nonexistent) confidence! The second ICON had arguably the biggest impact. For this one I wanted to reach out and join groups, which I did! I participated in 2 different group photoshoots as well as the fantasy picnic that I was too shy to participate in during the first year. I remember being so anxious about these, to the point I felt sick. I had talked to many of the people online but I hadn’t actually met them before and they felt worlds cooler than I was. But guess what!? They were nice!! Everyone I worked with were so inviting and kind and they weren’t just cool people I got photos with but they became friends! The third Icon took the best parts of the first two events and put it all together. I collaborated with incredible cosplayers and photographers, made amazing memories and did shoots which resulted in some of my favourite photos of all time. It was truly such a special event. The fourth a most recent Icon was wonderful. It was a weekend filled with so much joy and beauty. A weekend of passion, creativity and community that was filled with so much love. Thank you @iconphotofest . Thank you to everyone who has participated over the years. Thank you @katewonder , @_tessu_ @redscarf__ and @heidzdee for your work behind the scenes making the event run as smoothly as possible. And most of all thank you @emeraldlking - thank you for the love and care you put into this event, for creating it and making Tasmania the home of something magical 💜

‘When I used to read fairy tales, I fancied that kind of thing never happened, and now here I am in the middle of one!‘ ~ Last year the theme of the @iconphotofest picnic was wonderland so I whipped up this white rabbit inspired cosplay and I’m so happy with it! There are definitely changes I would make to the outfit itself as it was entirety assembled out of things I already owned but I adore how the mask turned out!! Im definitely feeling the TGX fomo as everyone gets ready for next weekend but it made me think about the fact that it means my Vi cosplay is turning a year old! Despite her being a quick (and cheap) build Vi was actually one of my most worn cosplays last year.
