It’s so exciting to see our first ‘Bad Book’ out on the shelves! 📚 Huge thanks to the booksellers who make it possible and to everyone who believes independent publishing has a place in the UK and Ireland. When @whackochacko doodled the Bad Book logo on his hand and suggested we take a chance on setting up our own indie kids’ press in Belfast, we never could have expected such encouragement and support from the kids’ book community of readers, artists, publishers and librarians. We’re grateful to everyone who is supporting @badbookpress and our incredible debut author @johnathanillustrates . We’re so honoured to publish his first book! We’re just getting started. So much fun joining the #WholeWildWorld North tour at The Guildhall for a stage show with brilliant @trishforde1 , @neilsharpson , @alannolan_author , and @sadhbhdevlin ❤️, packed with hundreds of kids! We also stopped by Little Acorns Bookstore and signed lots of books! Go grab them! 📚 The bus has been travelling all over Northern Ireland this week, bringing stories to young readers everywhere.
