Kendall @creatingkendall stopped by our booth at Nash Yarn Fest looking for a small project to try knitting with cashmere. We were so impressed by how she used just half a skein to create something both beautiful and functional. Kendall is a knitter, figure skater, activist, mom, and so much more. You can find her @creatingkendall
Pattern: May Bandana by Studio Anneliis @studio.anneliis
Yarn: Americana
Kendall’s Notes: I used a half for the main and only about half of a quarter (so like an eighth lol) The pattern does not call for an i-cord bind off on the headband area but the rolled hem wasn’t sturdy enough so I added the applied i-cord
Take a sneak peek at our new project journal… a makers best friend! The perfect companion to record all the details of your projects that you can return to again and again 🧶
And congrats to our giveaway winner Tasha! @5krunner92 🎉

Honored to be featured in Goat Rancher magazine - their April issue! This piece speaks to something we care deeply about - rethinking what goats can offer, and what farms can become. Cashmere isn’t separate from the work many producers are already doing - it’s a second harvest, a way to add value, and a path toward more resilient, diversified operations. From research partnerships to on-farm data, we’re proud to be part of a growing movement exploring American cashmere as both a fiber and a future. Reach out if you’re interested in joining the herd! 🐐🐐🐐🐐
We were thrilled a customer from Rhinebeck visited our booth at Maryland Sheep and Wool to share a scarf she knit in PURE cashmere and has enjoyed wearing everywhere! We are so grateful when people show us what they have knit with their yarn and the possibilities of clean cashmere.

Scenes from Maryland 🐑🐐 @mdsheepwoolfest Gabby and her mom soaking it all in at the Annual MSW Spin-In - moments like these are what it’s all about. 💕The Blindfold Spinning Contest did not disappoint - longest spun yarn wins! Vendors generously donated prizes and the energy was so fun! 🎉
We ran into Ethan Pope from the Bill Sims Wool and Mohair Research Laboratory at Texas A&M, who stopped in to talk a little fiber science. This is the lab where so many of our farms - and cashmere farms across the US - send their fleeces for testing. Always great to connect with the science side of our industry!
We ran into LeAnne, Beth, and Shawn from Croom Sound Farm @croom_cashmere They’ve been raising cashmeres for years and carry incredible genetics tracing back to some of America’s founding cashmere herds. So wonderful to see them in person!
And we ran into Stephanie from Tikkun Olam Farm in Maryland - a longtime Cashmere Goat Association member who was volunteering her time educating attendees on cashmere with her stunning hand-spun fleeces. Her passion for the fiber truly sets the tone for everything we love about this community. 💕 Cannot wait until next year!
