The Festival is honored to welcome back Kevin Ford for one day only to show off his skill with the blades and answer questions about shearing, animal care and handling and wool. If you want to meet a master craftsman plan to come see Kevin this Saturday in the Rabbit barn at 11:00 and 2:00.

Saturday 5/2/26 please come join TahNibaa Naataanii, a Navajo weaver from New Mexico representing the Many Hogan and Coyote Pass Clans. She will share her inspirations as a fiber artist and why she continues this way of life as a weaver, spinner, and Navajo Churro rancher. Don't miss TahNibaa's lecture at 1:30 in the 4-H Building. Doors open at 1:00. Tickets are $5 cash, payable at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Intro to Fiber Arts classes (formerly âFamily Activitiesâ) offer the same beloved beginner-friendly experiences, now in the Main Exhibition Annex! These classes are a fun, approachable way to try something new. Each session is led by expert instructors, and all materials are providedâjust come ready to create. Spaces open in Intro to Knitting (Ages 10+), Intro to Crochet (Ages 10+), Needle Felting Fungi (Ages 7+), Needle Felted Beads (Ages 10+) & Godâs Eye (Ages 5+)
